"Well well well ... if it ain't The Invisible C**t." - Billy Butcher, The Boys
"I have strong views about not tempting providence and, as a wise man once said, the difference between luck and a wheelbarrow is, luck doesn’t work if you push it." - Colonel Orhan, Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City - KJ Parker

When I first saw this advertised I was immediately reminded of this show http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088568/ Misfits of Science.
In which case Misfits seems to be an updated British version. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but I am hoping to find the episodes at some point to check it out.

Hmmm the video on that site doesn't work in this country apparently. I did find more information here. Being a British made show about chavs, I imagine there is lots of sex and swearing around the plot. Kind of like a superhero version of skins or something...
Watch the video, the concept is pretty cool actually...
EDIT apparently its out here... I dunno if you can watch 4OD outside the UK, but you can watch the first 4 episodes for free here

The 4 On Demand link is excellent for anyone in the UK (even if the quality of the streaming video isn't great and they make you watch ads). Watched the shows and there is more than a touch of Skins with Powers in this. Although to be fair to them they are not throwing the superpowers around as much as Heroes did. They seem to be concentrating more on the people and the ramifications/reasons for the manifestations of the individual powers. There are even some great one-liners in it.
All in all interesting but not necessarily my cup of tea.
