Part of me is not entirely comfortable with lynching Spite because he's been at least semi active, much as he wants to "keep me around" for similar purposes. Of course, people were previously calling me his symp, so my vote is mostly self-serving. People also called him Ano's symp, so I don't know what the current prevailing theory is.

So, do I remove my vote and go for a better case like maybe the Telas one (seeing as how I don't feel confident in my earlier Liosan case/vote)? I'm not voting for myself, and there are no other options, other than making my own case, which seem kind of pointless considering I already made one I've abandoned, and we're running down on time in the game.

Ah, pages of activity! This discussion is quite interesting and certainly starts splitting people into potential factions. I still prefer Liosan, if nothing else because Meanas deserves some credit for revealing on day 3 of a merc game without having previously received pressure.

I originally voted for Liosan because of low post count, but this discussion has made me confident it's the right choice still. Some of the defense used to justify not voting are so thin it makes me cringe. Sure, one does not have to vote Liosan, but the reasons for not doing so have been both creative and flowery, which always makes me suspicious. This is a merc game, not a standard mafia game. I would expect any number of players to throw themselves at someone not on their team, but instead there's been a lot of not scum rhetoric.

What would you all prefer for a weekend break? Timer stops but days/nights go on as usual? Thread locked? Something else?

I would prefer having the timer stopped but otherwise proceed as usual.

Same as Spite for the weekend, but I think we should at least finish Day 3 before we break. Would be nice to see how the end of the day turns out rather than give everyone a free pass to stretch the last ~5 hours.

I'm here now and see that activity was still dead overnight so I think now we have to make a decision. Telas, Spite, Liosan, and myself have 2 votes and one of those should be lynched.

Just based on the thread feeling, my reveal is best tested by lynching Liosan, although Liosan made a point that it's completely possible for my action to have failed under normal circumstances. The Spite case seems stale, but I'm willing to vote it on the grounds that I hate being called somebody's symp and would gladly prove it by voting him. The Telas case looks like an old one, too, but one that only recently got any votes. I think it's aided by the fact that Telas is a low poster. I don't want to get lynched, obviously, so I'm not even going to call that a possibility.

I think my favorite lynch today is Telas, but I'd also rather lynch than stall out.

Wow- so nothing new over the night-

going to go reread. I was thinking about it last night before I went to bed. The fact that:

1. we were at 4/7 (maybe 5? ) votes on liosan and the train fell apart is disconcerting
2. that Meanas was all Liosan Gung-ho and then straight bailed. ( though he did try to out him so i am a bit confused there)
3. that Liosan had 6 posts until he had 4 votes and then showed up an more than doubled his post count looks like someone who really didn't want to be lynched.

This makes me want to try to start up te Liosan train again.


I am not sure on the Telas case, I know it came from spite but i am not sure of the specifics. a little help? anyone give me the cliff notes?


I was the one that made the spite case on day 2. It had little to no support then ( other than from Liosan and Okaros) and seems to have fizzled again. Sukul is only on there to get me to vote lol. I don't see that going anywhere either which is also Disconcerting. I don't like it when people are that hard to lynch.



With us locked at 2vs 2vs 2 it looks to me like people are waiting for their leader to tell them what to do? This would lead me to think Telas/Tennes/or Gay lord might be a leader. of the Three most Likely Telas I suppose.

Ugh, so many options. As of now I am leaning towards Telas or Liosan.

Right now, I think the EASIEST one to lynch out of Telas/Spite/Liosan is probably Telas. I could see Liosan, Spite, Sukul, Korbas, and Tulas all showing up to change/add votes, some more than others. I am very uncertain that Korv, GL, Telas, or Tennes will be here in time. They're all spotty posters.

That means we need a lot of unity to vote someone off, and Korv's vote may be 'stuck' on Liosan. You can expect Liosan and Spite to fight a lynch pretty hard.

Telas may be the easiest person to railroad at this point. The most likely people to show up and vote at this point are Spite and Lio, simply because they are trying to avoid getting lynched themselves. If we say Ruse + Liosan + Spite all vote the same target (Telas), we're at 5 votes, then only 2 of the remaining people need to show up, and I think that's the easiest path to a lynch today.

Good news about the break, I'm going to be, I believe the exact phrase is, 'hella busy' over the weekend. While I'm not trusting Meanas as far as I can throw him, I do agree with getting a lynch in instead of nothing. It could only help every faction that isn't the lynchee's, which includes yours. Yes, you.

As for the threeway tie between Telas, Spite and Liosan (Lay Gord's vote isn't being counted at the moment), the choice is boiling down to two low posters and a supposed symp. Spite seemed to be more fake symping to me, but I'm willing to let them wait for a while. Liosan and Telas are only two posts apart, but while Liosan has literally just turned up to defend himself Telas has at least made some posts that aren't scrabbing to put himself in the clear. So,

I think we should look at Meanas more closely next though. Actually, both Meanas and Ruse, one for his reveal and the other for picking up no heat whatsover over the entire game. That is a little suspicious to me.
