Fun read up, lots of stuff came up. Here is a selection of my favorites, trimmed as necessary to keep the post readable.

Really? 'agreed' is your justification? Symp/Fake-symp much?

Jumping on the bandwagon much there Barghast?
I don't really see anything wrong with that post, it is kind of the obvious question to ask at the start of the game.
QFT.

I was merely stating we should discuss a plan of action.
We seem pretty clueless right now...
I just wanted to bring up a topic to get the discussion going as there is nothing going on
I am busy at work and cant contribute properly till im done.
As i said the game is very convoluted and we should discuss were to go first. Or would you prefer we just run around like headless chickens while the scum/mercs pick us off one by one? all the while discussing THEIR plan of action behind the scenes?
Sorry but that just reads weirdly to me. Obviously there's some kind of off-thread communication, as evidenced by the mods using H&M in this game to manage it (see also 'The Bar' mentioned in the OP), but do you think all the factions all know each other? Most people earlier thought a 'merc' game meant a faction leader that everyone in the faction knows and no other knowledge.

I actually find your reasoning very strange Galain?
How would me "looking like i want to stay below the radar" make me look like scum to you in a game like this in any case?
How do you know that i am not on your team?
Your reasoning is unfounded and actually makes no sense, the fact that barghast jumps on immediately is pretty strange too...

Just to finish...it seems to me that Galain knows exactly who is in his team. And has slipped up by targeting anyone who has shown any "scum" slips that is not in his team.
The Town DEFINITELY dont know who is on there side so i would put a big bet that Galain is not Town....barghast also...but perhaps not as much.
I have re-read Galain's post a few times and just don't see where he says anything about teams or 'scum.' I like the triple post in defense, however. Instead of logically reading over the original vote and the add-on by Barghast, you felt the need to ramble-style post. In other words, you posted something that came to your mind, hit reply, had another thought come to mind, hit reply, and did it a third time. That's clearly frustrated posting without much thought beforehand. Of course, innos get frustrated too, but seriously over two votes when one looks sympish?

I nver said they can ONLY recruit (more strawmanning.)
I just said that if they both can recruit...then its most likley that they can only recruit certain people making it harder for them to take over the game, making the game more balanced.
I could easily see you being on omtose team...blatant sympage is blatant
edit - quote tags
Look, all we know is Bella can be recruited. We don't KNOW for certain about anyone else. The simple fact that Queleti need to destroy the entire town makes me think they can't recruit. If they could recruit, they immediately win against town at even numbers, especially considering it's not likely for anyone but town to be recruitable. The advantage would be too big.
Most likely, the only faction that has any chance of recruiting (again, not talking about Bella) is the Cullen faction. They have no town requirements in their VC.

I understand that people could see what i have said in different light to what i actually MEANT.
When i say "what faction to hunt" i mean when we decide what action we are going to take. That being one of the options after discussion.
But that is not why Galain placed his vote....he placed his vote simply because he felt i was asking others to talk while i stay below the radar.
Which is not what i was trying to do...i was merely retying to elicit conversation on what we should do as the thread was dead and people where not discussing the game.
Galains vote makes no sense since his sole reason was that i am trying to be below the radar...so why place a vote?
He cant possibly think i am not in his faction from that alone, inno's play below the radar too, how is he so cock sure im not on his team?
The way i see it is he knows his team and didnt factor this in when willy nilly placing a vote on me when other people who are cautious because they DONT know who is on their team would be more carefully before pointing fingers and boldly placing votes.
You do realize that we have to vote to win, right? That we are probably not going to lynch a bad guy every time, right? It's probably 50% town 50% non-town in this game, and town have a tall order to get rid of everyone. If we all were 'scared' to vote just to avoid voting off another townie, we'd just time out every day and that clearly works well for winning games.

That all of Galain's post one saying he is here, the other he is dropping a post down on Omtose.
He admitting it a first day case, but if I was going to go with Galain argument I would want multiple posts from Omtose as extra evidence of Omtose playing style. One post doesn't prove a playing trend.
The first day case statement reads as "If I'm wrong don't blame me as it is only first day." But he does seem so fucking sure that Omtose isn't on his side, which could suggest that Galain is scum.
EDIT: Added Galain's first post.
Emur seems inclined to vote for Galain, but he later votes someone else. Kind of odd.

FINALLY done at work
So lets look at this
*VCs analysis cut out*
Man...im getting confused....anyone else got any ideas?
I suppose the cullens are the most wanted but right now anything should do as long as its not any of the Swans
Wow, so you completely ignored my earlier look at the VCs and made your own and came to (gasp) similar conclusions.

In the midst of the hoopla over Galain and Omtose these posts from Barghast are the most suspicious to me. Nobody was talking to Barghast when he posted this message.
*CUT quotes*
To me Barghast exchanges are much more suspicious and seem to be indicative of someone who is following directions.
Vote Barghast
Agreed here. Still the most suspicious thing to this point for me.

*SNIP*
As I said earlier, the first post didn't want to make me vote Omtose, but the following exchange does. The fact that people seem to just gobble up Omtose long chain of un-logic is equally interesting.
Omtose
Kind of agree here, but kind of looks like you're steering, too.

Read up--- Seems that something thats getting lost in the Omtose and Galain debate is the Barghast vote. wtf... honestly that set off more alarm bells than the Galain vote, or the Omtose rebuttal.
It seems Barghast is doing exactly What Omtose is claiming Galain did. With the caveat that Galain at least had a reason for his vote. Barghasts reason was ...
"Agreed"
More agreement from me.

I just don't see much reason for Galain to defend himself. Omtose just jumbles around reasons for not voting him that makes little sense. When did voting for someone = knowing everyone on your team?
As for Barghast, I suspect, well I believe I know who he is which is why I am not entirely willing to vote him out day 1. IT would be a shame, but then I remember Lisheo and Grief as scum and how that worked out for the inno team.
edited because.. I dunno what happened
I'm going to assume the underlined statement is an indication that you know which PLAYER he is and not which CHARACTER he is, but sorry, we got burned by forgiving 'noobish' play in the Star Trek game. That's no excuse.

Barghast acting sympish is a bit blatant, if he is a symp. why give away the person he is symping away. Then he is symping someone else. Omtose maybe.
Or could he be scum trying to appear as a symp, but that still dumb for scum.
I would want him to come back in explain his actions, but his I won't be back till the end of the day just reads as an attempt to stall us from voting him.
Barghast actions just don't add up any way I look at it.
Vote Barghast
IDK, looks a lot more like Barghast is symping Galain. Considering what you said earlier about Galain looking scummy, this is a major change of mind which COULD be based upon the way vote winds are currently blowing.
