@ Galain: I recognize the sentiment about recruitment, but a (limited) cult (oh shit, he mentions the c**t word) gets progressively stronger while weakening the town and are able to divert lynches at times, which is towns tool to dispose of scum, whereas killers keep the same strength throughout the game. It really is choosing between two evils, but I think when we encountered the problem of killers AND cult in the past, we usually went for killers first, and usually, after that, the cult won as their numbers weren't culled.
Also: eh? what? You usually win when your faction wins, sir, whether you are dead or alive, so your statement is rather strange.
Not if they are all dead, or weakened so bad as to be unable to meet a win condition. I think you need to reread the rule for this game.
are you implying you are your faction's power role?
What?
your post to me reads "if I die, my faction will lose, so let's focus on removing the killers"
Where do you get that from? I honestly don't see it.
Gotta agree with Galain here, it doesn't read to me like that. It more or less reads: 'If a supposed power player on my team gets taken down, I'll play to get recruited.' added to that is the thought: 'so that
I can win.' We've had discussions like that in the past when it came to cult games, and it kind of screws factions over when one or two pawns lose faith and start playing for themselves rather than for their faction.
If he meant that thought goes for this game, it means he's probably recruitable and that means he's unlikely (or possibly wanting to pretend he's unlikely) to be a cullen/ werewolf and probably not coven or evil vamp either as I guess those factions don't have a lot of low power roles without town becoming a farce numberswise.
Him being lowpowered does not fit exactly with barghy symping him, though. I know I didn't apply my question solely to this game, however, seeing how I mentioned going for cult or killers first
usually, and it may be he answered in kind.
