I went out with my friend yesterday and she couldn't resist having a bit of a stroke of the beard, it's getting to beard length and coverage now. The blond hairs have started to come through , which is when I know it's gone from stubble to beard territory.

If you're clean shaven now, then you need to die. It's an affront to the world and life itself not to have a bushy beard with that growth.

Oh, also! I hate you.

Right, I fancy giving this a go, I've got 4 weeks til leave so I can go that long at least. At the minute I'm on a stubbly look so got a good head start :(

I did grow a 10 weeker last year (see pic), using the 'no comb, no trim' philosophy. The stylist face when I walked into the salon was a picture haha!

Sure do, they employ the best looking hair dressers (getting your hair cut is very boring if theres nothing to look at), and they give you beer...

Mines getting to the "nice to stroke" kind of length. (My beard that is, not erm... anything else...) Though I did trim a bit for the 70s party last week to make it look more sideburnish...

What, your willy not long enough to stroke yet? Don't worry, it'll come with puberty.

I've been persuaded to do mine as a kind of anti-Movember, since I refused to grow a tasche nd Mrs C refused to let me.

In 2003 my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer and thanks to cancer charities etc he's still very much with us, so I'm very greatful and thought I'd try to give a bit back whilegrowing my mane. I'm seeking sponsorship from my tightarsed mates.

So I'm going to not be cutting it now till the end November, which should be interesting.

My question is will the beard merge with the infamous chest minge?

Post the bear pics! I likes seeing them! :( My brother is growing a mostache with his manicured stuble at the moment, I laughed at him and told him to grow a full beard like a real man.

If I didn't trim the bottom of my beard so that it doesn't itch too much I'd have unbroken hair from my head to my balls.

If I'm not careful my beard will connect under my ears to the hair on the back of my neck. It's a good look.

well, I started using shampoo on it this morning in an effort to soften the bristlyness. I find it to be much softer anyway, but the wife still cringes at it.

I WILL get a positive beard-related comment out of her before this thing is shaven. I MUST!

my father saw the beard this weekend and was pretty stoked. Even my mom said it didn't look as bad as she thought it would.

win

:(:p
