questions for planning this trip -

Where is this place where we are meeting (is it in the city of chicago or a suburb outside of the city?)

Where are we staying (do I need to arrange a hotel to sleep in?)

I am driving..is there parking space available near my destination? (Well...is there?)

Bubba is coming by train (how far is the train station from your location?)

Is Rodeo going to be there? (should I pack a gun to help fight off the massive amounts of forest animals that will be desending on the city?)

Attention Hoosierdaddy - Slow Ben - and Eddie Dean!!!!

Do you want a lift? (its on my way, I need to know how much time to allow for the pick-up and drop off of you if you want to ride ...gas is on me since its on the way..but you need to deal with your own food and sleeping arrangements ...unless everyone is sleeping with the sorority chicks that Morgy cant....

Anyway..answers to these need to be answered by this friday, otherwise it will be difficult to plan a trip around these questions.

You are most likely going to take I-65 to Chicago, meaning you'll be going around I-465 (Indy Metro), it's a quick 15 minute trip off I-465 to me and 15 minutes back, so not a long detour.

I would suggest chicago proper for the drinking itself. Evanston didn't allow serving of alcohol until the seventies, so it's not as good here. Decent selection of good restaurants though. There are plenty of places more down town-ish with a better selection of bars and better selection of beer. Surprisingly good micro-brews.. Vengyboy knows his way around, so I'm sure he's got some thoughts.

There's limits to how much room I can offer, though I've already got HD accepted by the girls on the floor so that's fixed. I might get room for another person, but that depends a little. I do however think there's room for another car to park here. I'll double check later today.
