Bent - what time are you guys getting in? We are going to try to get to the Field sat morning if we aren't meeting till the afternoon, but I would like to get it figured out so we don't screw ourselves on how much time we have.

Cant check in the hotel until 3pm...so I hope to get in around 2 pm or a little later to take care of parking and get settled in and stuff. I figure it will take 11 hours to drive it and then 1 hour for stops. So I will be leaving around 2 am Saturday Morning. I should then pick HD up at around 8 or 8:30 am. then finish the drive.

I think that it is only a 4 hour drive from Indy to Chicago.

The reservation is at 5 Pm. It is between CF games and so the place isn't suppose to be to crowded. We have a little privatish area just in case though. I suggest taking the subway up to the place and then you guys sharing cabs back to the hotel after.

As to times

a. my math sucks
b. I have no idea how long real time it will take. I drove 16 hours to meet-up with Bubba last year, and it was only supposed to be a 10 hour drive (fucking GPS!)
c. I'd like to get in earlier, but not sure how realistic that will be as I need sleep sometime ffs.
d. Dont want to get in too early, because then we have to lug our shit around until check-in time.

Suggestions on how to do this better are appreciated, as I told hoosier, I typically just throw shit in the car and drive. Stop at a hotel and sleep, then drive back - planning sucks!

It is a 4 star hotel so if you wanted the Desk would probably hold your luggage till check in. Most places will do that. So I wouldn't worry about that. Just drive on up and when you get here is when you get here.

Ahem, Bent, if you roll in before we head to the museum sat morning you could put your bags in our room - but I think we are heading out at about 9-9:30 so we can be done and back at the hotel around 3:30 to make sure we can grab a train to the Goose.
