Sorry for not ending up posting yesterday. We ended up getting drunk, and as is her duty, the girlfriend saved me from posting anything when we got home. No one would have wanted that after all.

Good even-*checks watch* morning people. I suppose its a nice thing that kills are every other night. But the fact that they're killing the ship slowly at the same time is not pleasant. Does ANYone have ANY thoughts AT ALL as to what systems may have been damaged? Cuz last time I asked I got lip service from Thyr about a different point and then nothing.

I'm sorry, what? What "lip service" are you talking about here? I can't remember having commented much upon the sabotage thing apart from some pretty weak speculations early on. Your reveal tells us a lot though which is good.

For the two cases up now, Atrahal and Ampelas.. I'm having a hard time. Ampelas I agree with a lot. I feel he's being logical and I generally agree with everything he says in his posts, which freaks me out. Atrahal on the other hand made a very sketchy reveal, but contradictions, even in a reveal is not by any means impossible. IT all depends on how much he had to work to get around the no reveal rule.

Also there's the problem of lynching the contributor for contributing, but in the end Ampelas does stand out as someone who's just being too agreeable and thus i'd rather vote for him I think. However, as there are 7 hours left and I'm going to a cafe with net connection *cross fingers* I'm not voting just yet. I want to take a closer look at the thread going back about a day as I didn't really read it in depth.

Ok...I have one issue with this:

Was Kirk's only ability to bond with someone and make them their lover? Yes, that makes sense, but this is CAPTAIN KIRK we're talking about. And it would be significantly different from Kirk in the modcraft game, no?

What does this mean? Some of us didn't play the mod craft version

so every other night it is then.. funny how Korvalain guessed that on day 1.

I am of course awesome like that, knowing all the ins and outs of the game on day 1. But... while I do know it has been said on thread, I doubt it was me - this is reinforced by the fact that I also failed to know what the sabotage mechanic did in the modcraft version of the game. I will stand properly corrected if you supply a quote, of course.

Might be good info to have anyway, although I personally doubt that person will be scum - it is much more advantageous to pretend there's a kill each night and try to draw out a guard reveal on the off-nights.

The current opinion based on the modcraft version of the game is that sabotage does not sabotage the ship but various player abilities that rely on technical devices.

Ya, that's not the way sabotage works this game. Can't say why, but based on my abilities I know that its not the way it works. Hence why I'm hoping to pick up some subtle hints about system malfunctions. I haven't seen anything in scenes that affects the entire ship, so I suspect any damage that's been done is to low level systems. Shit like the comms unit would affect the whole crew. We'd know if that was down. Stuff like phasers, or consoles might only affect the people capable of wielding phasers or consoles. So I shouldn't say its NOT how it works, its simply modified.

Holy hell... really... this is the ghostbusters game all over again where the RI's all tried to figure out who each other were on thread by quoting there PM and in the meantime the scum were able to deduce who the GB's were by process of elimination... was this needed this early? At least wait till you have some votes. We now have 2 probable PI's 0 Scum down. thats a group of 4-6 and from there they can narrow down from.....

Granted, the game was progressed quite a bit cause of it.... just seems a bit early. imo

And really Kalse.. wtf not reveal..... could have at least stalled the lynch.

i am sure you can reveal info, you just have to be careful. it seems clear to me some people think others are revealing info on thread, alkend claimed that for korlat did he not? and for others? (i think it was alkend but the names are similar and i am tired so cant be sure) Plus revealing is a valid tactic and any game we have had where its expresselly forbidden havent really worked. obviously quoting your pm is against the rules and modkillable, but whats the point in having finders or guards if they cant say they found guilty or think they blocked a kill? likewise in the previous star trek game scotty could only repair systems he discovered where damaged, how did he discover it? well people had to alert him on thread. so there was always a risk. for example i could tell you that the replicators are no longer working and veal is now off the menu. of course food isnt a priority and scotty more than likely has something more important to do, but thats just an example. spock might say i think the tricorders arent working, or the sensor array seems down and hope scotty picks up on it, but its still a reveal of sort. removing that aspect of the game is basically cutting off our access to info and we rely solely on cf's to decide what to do as th einnos can make no strategy or attempt no gameplan beyond, lynch wait, lynch wait.

In other words, YOU SHOULD HAVE REVEALED EARLIER.

in fact kalse and yourself had both perfect oppurtunities to respond. kalse only had to say, one person on thread knows i am innocent and has done fromt he start or something equally vague and nondisclosing. to reveal on thread that your lover after the lynch, during night and say you couldnt during the day for fear of modkill makes literally no sense. why would the rule suddenly change? you are still claiming a role, and as you are not dead the role hasnt changed.

lets just colour me suspicious and leave it at that.

try reading this post again Posted Image

i will give you a clue, its in the first paragraph Posted Image

Posted Image are we trying to give this game away lol. Dragon stew anyone?

The lip service is precisely what you just mentioned. You glazed over it en route to a different point.

My reveal was done out of a desire to get some info into the thread and to get myself some info of my own. It has so far paid off nicely. I'm totally satisfied so far.

After catching up I find myself siding with Korv more than with Tennes. From what i've seen its a bunch of Gut feelings, a possibly scummy post. and 2 Hammer votes. Actually now that I type that out.....thats an aweful lot of coincidences adding up.

Atrahal I am not sure about. Korv lays out some good points. His play has been anything but consistent. After going back and reading Korv's case, I don't think I can PI Atrahal. The thing that gets me and why i am going to

vote Atrahal

I don't understand how he can reveal after the fact and not before the fact. Scum can lie and say whatever they want as long as they aren't revealing. It's just too convenient.

@Tennes Fair enough, and I did point out it has progressed a rather slow game, so bravo for that. But as Alk says You have painted a rather large bullseye on your back.

Also @ Tennes- What are your thoughts on the case against Atrahal and the inconsistencies there?

Looks like I killed thread... I saw on the PS post that there is a player named Korbas... Is that a typo? I can't recall a Korbas post.

Wait, siding with Korv over me? I haven't actually presented any cases...are you referring to my concern over Amp's post?

I'm lenient on modkill, but it got beyond the point where I can't be lenient
