I haven't seen any of the items I got free for preordering. I hope I just haven't got far enough yet and they will show up, and there's not something shady going on. Give me the loot!

And it's easy to make a decent looking character, but it seems like in fallout it is easy to make one who's middle of their face seems sunken in if you're not careful.

Err, you should have had 2 little cards inside your case with the game that has some codes that you redeem in the game, which you then DL to your 360. I started with the bracelet and trinket and just found the Golem (Shale). He is hilarious.

Edit: Did I mention that I backhanded some woman then slit her kids throat because he was possessed? Yea, I'm an in-game badass.

*weeps*

This is going to be torture, the next two weeks. TORTURE. FML. Seriously. FML.

(And considering the game clocks in at a supposed 60 hours or so on absolute speed-run? Yeah. Fucking epic.)

Ah... UPS just got here with what had better be my replacement/new video card. Time to join the child-killing possession-beating masses. Or maybe i'll kill her and make a soup.

Oh for the day when games allow even the most fucked up and bizarre twists of your imagination to come true...

I got mugged on Friday night, and in my wallet was the £60 gamestop voucher I was gonna use to buy Dragon Age. I feel your pain, and also some additional actual real pain from the mugging.

No shit, that is bad. -_-

Good to see that the game seems to be as good as i hoped, though.

You need to do the 'EA Activation' button, not the 'Redeem Microsoft Code' button. I had the same issue until I saw the little thing at the bottom. It is the 'Y' (yellow) button when you are in the download part.

Does the golem only come from the preorder? I thought that I saw all copies had him included, but now I'm not so sure. And I'm not a fan of paying $15 for him later.

He's dlc. Whether that is dlc that is made available to all preorders or just to a more special group, I don't know - CE here, so I get everything -_-.

It's much more fun in these games to make a troll-ugly character anyway -_-

I've ounched in the codes and got nothing, but then went back and redid the armor and have it now. Going to try with the other stuff to see if that's the deal there too, and buy the warden's keep.

EDIT: It worked. You have to go back in after punching in the codes and confirm the download.

for the people who did play into the game... does the stone guardian quest show up from the start, or later? cause I have the wardens keep quest in the log & had since the start, but not the stone guardian (yet?) I wonder if I entered the code wrong.

I haven't seen the stone guardian quest yet. I think you have to go the the right town. THe warden's keep is a little lame. IN the end, you have a storage chest which is very valuable, and a suit of armor. There's also a merchant with some cool stuff and a smith with some armor. That's all you end up with. After you've beaten the quest, you can't even go back into the actual keep, just outside, so make sure you search everything before you leave.

This game could end up being the end of my marriage. -_-

Yeah, so Borderlands is friggin FUN! As with most games it takes a bit to get going. But once you get the hang of it and get some good weapons, its good.

Mine too.

It really seems this whole 'dlc' craze is just a cheap cop-out so companies don't have to put time/effort/money into a real expansion pack like they used to.

It's more a way to milk money out of us. There's no reason why the keep wasn't included in the game, other than they knew people would see the need for the party chest and pay 6 bucks for it.

As for the Golem, you need to run into the merchant without the mule and he gives you the control rod, then you have to go to the town and kill darkspawn, use the control rod, it dosen't work, then you find a basement, kill a demon, talk to the brewmaster, and then get the right activation phrase.

Then it works. The golem is HILAROUS.

The Keep was supposed to be DLC 2 months after the release of hte game, but they took so long porting it to 360 and PS3 that it was complete at the same time.

I killed a dragon. in some ruins. I looted its horde. I still cannot find some goddamn upgrade robes, but I almost have enough money to go buy the super-staff from the mage tower. Om Nom Nom Nom.

Man this game is awesome. I was going to talk a little about it the last couple days, but that would mean that I wasn't playing Dragon Age. Unfortunatly I'm back at work today and I won't be able to pick it back up for a couple days. For me it took a few hours into the main quest to really get into it, but after you level up a bit it really gets good. One question though: does anyone know how to level up with a "specialization". I'm at a level 13 and havn't seen jack about it. I even spent 10 g on some damn Templar book that didn't do jack. Anyway the game is sweet. It really reminds me of KOTOR more than anything else.

Yea I'm level 12 or 13, and I have a 'specialization point' to spend, and I can see the 4 possible specializations, but I have no fucking clue enable any of them.

I figure I'm just too good to specialize. The ultimate WIZARD.
