Well after you linked it, I decided to sign up because it has stat tracking, which is always cool.
You're probably more interested in the game mods and building them, which is also cool and something I've wanted to get into but no dev. tools on the 360 hehe. Maybe one of these days I'll have to do more laptop gaming, since the specs on mine are great (or were 15 months ago), and then start playing around with that stuff.
Name is CrusadingKiller- any site that deals with video games, I always use my Live GT as profile.

@Tapper- yeah I usually go console.
Only games I have on Steam are Empire: TW and Dawn of War.
Though I often have problems through steam, which is part of the reason I don't use it. Like updates screw up and won't install, so I can't play the game and then I have to figure out how to fix it, which usually ends in a complete uninstall/ reinstall.

Got your request, Stalker, accepted.
I'm into the modding, but the game itself has to be good enough and interesting enough for me to play it straight up, before I go for mods to fix problems or add new content. XD
It's looking promising though, for sure.

The only good thing about going home to Norway at the begining of december is that I can buy dragon age and play it at home
.. which reminds me.. Are there region limitations to the 360. If I bought DA:O in the US, can I play it on a european 360?

usa (and japan/asia) use ntsc format, whereas europe uses pal format... so if that makes any sense to you, the answer is "maybe" some 360 games work on either, some dont, but as I understood it, it was up to publishers to code the discs region-free or limited. I think i read that DA:O was going to be region free, but I wouldn't guarantee that.

The one review I have seen said it is much more 'old school' RPG than KOTOR or ME are. Saving Throws, different party memebers/weapons for different fights, that sort of thing.

Jusentantaka is a girl?
I'm so pumped for this game. It's out tomorrow, but I['m not sure if I can afford it at the moment. We'll see.
A mod should change this thread name to Dragon Age.

I have 4 more days of PTO I can take, and all of December is booked by my boss, so I can't take it off since I get to be in charge. Yay, right? Oh god its going to suck, anyway,
I took tomorrow off and the 10th and 11th off for video game days. I might just store the last day for next year, we shall see.
I = Nerd. I love video games. Dragon Age Origins, you are mine to play and enjoy. Prepare to be crushed, evil spawn of whatever the world is called!

I've got this coming from Gamestop tom. I just hope it get's delivered early instead of late. I'm also going to go to walmart first thing in the morning to see if they have it and just sell the other on ebay. But my Walmart is pathetic and probably won't get it on the shelf for a few days

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
It comes out here on the 6th, which is all well and good. Slightly late, but meh.
EXAMS.
EXAMS!!!!!!
Until the fricking 19th. No gaming whatsoever. CURSE YOU EXAMS!!!!!!!!
*strangled noises of paper being ripped and eaten*
(And yes, this is supposed to be much more BG than ME - and IGN AU gave it a 8.4 (they're normally a bit low) because they can't deal with graphics that aren't Mass Effect. Wimps.)

@RLY- agree. Said it awhile ago but no one listens lol.
I'm getting this game like 3 days after CoD comes out cause amazon gave me $20 store credit for preordering CoD, which means I get Dragon Age for $40!! Awesome.

same here. Fricking annoyed it's not the third, thankfully I didn't take the wednesday off for gaming, cause I had my hopes up for a release on the third - as it stands, I have a pre-load but no early playing. Bleh. :s

Friend of mine got his early before the release date (note: not pirated
) but he says while it's definitely not worthy of being Baldur's Gate material (what is?) it's probably and arguably best RPG and Game of the Year.
Also once again, the 360 version is pirated before the PC version. All those claims of PC piracy, feh.
Also the console version is severely dumbed down - worse graphics and you can't get top-down view on the gameplay. So that's why AU probably give it a worse review; they insist on using 360 to review EVERY game that is multi-ported.
Ah well, will get my game after exams, at this time avoiding forums like the plague not to get spoiled on.
