All that way for a photo? The only time I go all the way to Docklands is to sit on a bench and eat chips.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Good point. Only reason anyone goes to Docklands, really. Except if you live there of course lol.

A few I took a couple of years back whilst touring...
The first one is on Whitsunday Island, the second on Fraser Island and the last is of Koh Tau (sp?)

Nice pics gamet, that beach one is gorgeous, and I want to buy one of those houses in the 3rd pic...
You’ve never heard of the Silanda? … It’s the ship that made the Warren of Telas run in less than 12 parsecs.

I'm quite proud of these:
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. There were loads of butterflies on the buddleia bush at my house. Quite hard to take pics without overexposing them:

@ cougar - What kind of camera are you using? If it's some kind of SLR, then you should probably go with manual exposure on a day that sunny (and take a practice reading off a flower first), or at least underexpose the shot by between 1-3 stops. If you are using a point and shoot then it gets harder.
@ cauthon - very nice pics. all of them are well done, but i really like the roof shot. Did you try and do the cascading water at slower shutter speeds (which may have been tricky considering how bright it was)?
@ stone monkey - i like the streetscape, but where is that second shot from? Really cool looking structure.

No just an automatic ( a decent one) unfortunately there is only a limited amount you can do on them to influence the exposure etc.

Yeah :-)
Did not come out as good, imho. The above shot is at 1/500, f/16.0, 50 mm (x 1.6)
@SM The street pic is pretty awesome. I wish the hall shit did not have any people on it though.

Love the shot of the boy walking to the sea.
Nice stream too, btw ;-)

She was trying to grab an orange.
Couple more, taken at the Sachsenburg concentration camp.
First is an autopsy table, in a room above the gas chambers (which had fingernail marks on the walls :| ) second is the ramp they used to get the bodies to the furnaces.

Thanks, took it a few years back on my old POS film SLR when I was taking photography at school, just wish I'd taken it vertically rather than horizontally.

Kif: Sir, remember your course correction?
Captain Zapp: No.
