Foolish Mirkins and your inadequate knowledge of British expressions. Unless of course you're all tee-total fucktards, in which case, I would ask you kindly to leave as you are no longer welcome on the forums - we don't like to associate with people who refuse to slowly poison themselves.

BEER FTW!

Ay Billy no-mates, quit bein a total nosey parker. Just because your a complete piss-artist, don'e mean the rest of us are gormless. Ya Git!

I'll be in bath those dates, I'll be working during the day but will be able to meet up in the evening, I don't know bath that well just yet, but I'll be able to show you around for a bit. If your willing to associate with someone who choses not to slowly poision themselves with alcohol that is :(

I lack even rudimentary couch facilities, but if you want a floor to sleep on there is some space.

In Bath you have to go to:

The Roman Baths (Bath uni students get in with a discount or free, I can't remember). The audio tour round there is either very good or very silly (I can't remember that either. I do remember standing in the dark, underground, unable to see anything with Zoe Wanamaker cooing "Magnificent, isn't it?" down my ears).

You have to end the Roman Baths tour with a cup of the famous water in the Georgian Tea Rooms. For the quintessential English experience you then have to stop off for tea and cake inside but it is quite expensive due to being a good location for fleecing American tourists.

Mooch inside Bath Abbey. Look at Pulteney Bridge. Walk up to the Royal Crescent. The comedy bus tours are quite funny and they do ghost walks and stuff in the evening. It is pure touristville.

You can also go to the Jane Austen Centre but I'm not sure that's Rodeo's cup of tea, he might have his virtue stolen by a rich handsome rogue and then be disowned by his family and left to a scandalous life of shame with a bastard child. There is also the Fashion Museum, I never went there but I think it is just the thing for a wandering Canuck.

Hell yeah! I'll never turn down a free floor spot! My current plan is to pull into Bath on November 24th and take off on the 26th. So two nights of a disreputable Canuck on your floor is alright with you?

Hmm...

Tiste, is considering typing in "Disreputable Canuck Porn" into google images...

EDIT: My curiosity got the better of me, and while there are no images that are that bad at all, I did come across this rather amusing page...

If I get the job which I am currently hoping to, it will start in Manchester on November 30th, which means I could do both Salisbury and Manky drinking. Score!

And you can come over to Cardiff to where it all started for the two of us!! Yay!

EDIT: Hmmm... I'm wondering if that could have come out less gay... :(

...that would be a definately not :)

Mal and I will be able to show you round the delights and sights of Cambridge - it will be heaving with people but there's plenty of pubs to rest and recuperate in along the way :(

But it's not a proper Manky Meetup without Brood. If not for you, there wouldn't even be an annual event. You can stay at mine to keep the cost down, maybe even arrive a bit late to save on too much booze expenditure. Plus, if you stay more sober, you can keep Dan company! Give the folks a sob story to get one of them to stump up for train fare/petrol money. Blagging is where it's at when you are out of work.
