I'm feeling rather ill at the moment (first time off the couch or out of bed today), so don't know how active I can be today. Hopefully I'll feel better later on and can get on and contribute. Sorry all.

I am here too, but only shortly, I am running a high fever and typing really isn't my best suit at the moment, not to mention my brain is sluggish. I see you lynched Spite, and right now I can't say for sure if lynching Gam would have been a better choice or not. I am not regretting the vote, and I still stand by my assessment of Gam's play, but I am hoping for more tangible, better cases today. For one thing I feel the low posters need to be put under pressure - players like Omtose and Meanas need to get their heads in the game.

Ok, here goes.
I wasn' sure Game was scum yesterday, and so wouldn't vote for him. However, he more I read his posts of last night and today, the more I see scum. He garnered alot of heat yesterday, and was nearly lynched. Nearly being the key word. So what does one do, when nearly lynched? Look for a way to PI himself. Above he states that Korv had to send his REAL CF to random people. Its pretty obvious to me at least that Korv was in fact a symp. I mean, a symp CF's as inno, however he would have to be in a nationality that his scum masters were in. Since Tapper said that one or more nationalities had been infiltrated, that would mean that he would CF as MORE THAN ONE nationality. Below Korv says that he didn't make a slip with the "Fuck it" remark, yet remember, before Gamelon changed he had to have known that Korv wasn't on "his team", according to his first post anyway. That my friends is a blatant contradiction. He knew, yet he wouldn't announce it on thread, yet he did announce i on thread.
this really is a ridiculous vote. You honestly think as scum, i would say that korv, who i would have had to know on day 1 is on all the teams (which he wasnt), isnt in my team and announce it just before putting him on l-1. Seriously, use your brain.
Now below is the first mention of the blonde which made during last nights actions. Gamelon asks why the scene couldn't have made them lovers. No mention of himself as the blonde.
However, below he is saying he is the blonde and is being guarded. Based on the latest action scene. Now how does one know that they are being guarded? Seriously, if I take an action and it fails, I don't know if I am being guarded, or the person I am targeting is being healed, or had a BP, or any other freaky amounts of possibly twisted roles that might be in this game.
Meanas asked if anyone could confirm that Gamelon was telling the truth and this is the answer we get.
will answer this now as well, people might think announcing they have info on thread makes them a target, i am akready loud and centre of attention. i would hope people have the back bone to acknowledge it, but if they dont, you have to ask yourself why would i make it up? i think it would benefit us all for those who recieved this info to clarify it, at least one person.
Why would he make it up?
Lets see, he has CIed (at least in his mind) Korvalain, someone who had the strangest CF ever, and yet we get a "normal" CF and no one sees a problem with this. There must have been a "master of disguise". No way that its scum, or a symp. What if all scum comes up as the same CF as Korvalain, or what if none of them do. I still say he is scum, and the only people I could see using a trashed CF and not going with the obvious would be scum who was in trouble and is looking for a way out.

ok to clear up the korvalain confusion i know for a fact that he was a spy as part of his role was to send his own REAL cf to people. dont ask me what weird type of role that is, but he did have an actual cf and i cannot reveal it on thread on pain of tapper stamping on me. the message made it clear that a number of players would recieve it, possibly people on his train or by some other distinction i dont know. Korvalain was definitely a spy, just a very good one.

Two women, one blond, the other dark. One with an oval face, the other's heartshaped with flaring cheeckbones and fiery eyes. One dressed casually, the other in a leather catsuit. One sitting in a window, the other hanging upside down from a few toes crammed into a groove.
"Can't be very comfortable," the blonde remarks.
"I'm used to it. Enjoying the clear night sky?"
"I do. Hadn't expected to find you here, after that debacle in Istanbul."
The vertical lady smiled. "I could say the exact same about you."
"So, they didn't force you out? You didn't run? Still the same old employer?"
"I'm not one to betray my ideals. even if they force me into uncomfortable positions."
The blonde said nothing, but nodded to herself, imagining the strain on the other's ankle. The thrillseeker was still loyal. Good.

I know I haven't been around much. I am really sorry, my week has been far more insane than I anticipated, and I am completely knackered. I haven't been on a train because my on line times haven't been in sync with the lynches. I didn't think Spite was scum when I was on, so I wasn't about to vote for him at that time, although I probably would have later on, because lynches are important, obviously.
I have no real feeling on anybody at the moment, but that's probably due to speed reading. I will come up with some more thoughts before I sleep though I promise!
Just one thing, and I will go back and check, but has anybody referred to this, ie backed it up like Gamelon believed they would?

I have just reread the entire thread...I think I want to kill myself...:killingme:It's easy having huge post counts if you spam like mad and can stay on line for hours. /sarcasm]
Seriously, considering there are so many pages, there is actually sod all to really get a grip of. Oh, loads of info in scenes and stuff, but nothing to pin down as scummy, other than the cases that were made against Sil, Korv, Spit and Game...okay that's quite a lot, but what I mean is they've been done over and over and I am not about to start raking them up again yet. It would be pointless. The battle between Spite and Game was a huge distraction and I honestly don't know if I would have voted for either had I been on.
The post that did poke me in the eye was this one
but I am sure hindsight is affecting me, simply because the train did turn, so that last sentence probably seems worse than it really was.

I have to say, the group of players who were remarking about how theScum = Syndicate thing wasn't obvious sounded really stupid. I can'tremember who it was exactly (will check when I get home), but the onlyexplanations as far as I can tell are that either they didn't followTapper's very explicit instructions and read through the rulescarefully (which, if you followed this instruction, made gleaning S=Svery straightforward), or they were deliberately being obtuse in orderto drive the train onwards. My money is on the latter, because Tapper'swarning signals should have made it clear that a thorough read was anabsolute must.
However, the CF means that it's definitely worth getting a lynch today, and at this late hour I don't see any other real options.

And so my case is dismissed entirely? I think its pretty reasonable. Meanas, I wont do the same to you. Ruse was on my radar towards the end of the day, but theres really nothing tangible, you could take the name, and change it to Omtose and still get pretty much the same read. While I would like to see more contribution from the low posters, I feel that we are still in great shape considering 2 nights without a kill. So that will give the low posters time to get into the game.

Yeah, I made that post after coming on and seeing about 6 votes on Silchas and only 1 vote on anyone else. You'll notice that once the possibility of a lynch on a stronger case came along, I went with that instead.

Well apologies if I skimmed a bit, but there was a lot to go through. Spite's CF and Game's confirmation makes me more confident that Korv really was a spy and not syndicate, but a master of disguise so that he could fake any nationality. The simplest would be that one of those nationalities was his real one, but who knows, maybe at level 4 or 5 he could actually change his allegiance and win with anyone (except scum). Doesn't matter much at this point.
To who-ever said 4 (or even 5) scum was a lot for 17 people, this is TMDI 10 and we all have abilities that develop more and more as we level. 4 scum may be a lot if the other 13 of us were mostly RI, but for this I don't think that seems weird at all.

Man, this new board version really is both nice and a pain in the ass for trying to review someone dozens of posts... nice in that it's easy to see which are spam and skip'em but every contentful posts needs to be opened individually...
Anyways, I did a re-read of HP and Mockra. I know it's night and this'd be better saved for the day but there's like 12 hours left in night, I gotta do something while I have all this on-time!
Mockra doesn't strike me oddly in any which way - he's just the usual trudging along offering commentary on cases and voting. Nothing really looked out of place.
HP's contentfulness is mostly from day 1 with his case on Emur and then switching away from that. He very much followed the train yesterday with only a bit of content in the form of commenting on the Korv CF but not much of anything about the case itself. This worries me a bit, as scum would definitely want to appear helpful and day 1 was a great time to make a case to appear that way, after which he could be now laying low without arousing suspicions due to his established helpfulness and solid post count. Finally, HP has shown a high willingness to lynch, switching over to the existing lynch trains both times when they were around half the votes needed for lynch, and we all know scum like to be among the middle voters in the trains.

Right I posted a list and I stated that the three bottom posters I saw a chance of there being a scum, a while later Tulas comes on within an hour and a half posted 5 posts, which is a quarter of his posts over three days he has 21 posts on the writing of this.
One serious post where he goes over HP, fair does (but people have argued about HP quite a bit). One post saying he is has arrived and another saying he is going away, one post a joke and another post where he reiterated what had been said before him.
To me he barely contributing or he just repeats previous arguments.

Yes you should have revealed this earlier.
But there a problem, as Gamelon suggested quite a few people should got this CF, but only you and him have admitted to this, and Gamelon post made it sound like more than two people.
So I'm wondering where are the others who got Korv cf, that if you and Game are telling the truth?

Well, that depends on whether they feel like coming forward, I guess. I have no idea who they might be...PS's wording implied pretty heavily that multiple players who were not myself had been informed...
