While I was waiting for Martin to publish his last Hoodforsaken book, I started exploring other fantasy sagas.
Tried the Wheel of Time series:didn't catch me (the female characters are very unlikable).
Tried MBotF: instantly hooked! So far I've read only House of Chains, Memories of Ice and Midnight Tides (because they were the only ones available at the public library).
Next in line, Gardens of the Moon.
Been on the forum a couple of times. Lurking is not my thing.

Midnight Tides is the halfway point. You still have GoTM and Deadhouse Gates from the first half. But from The Bonehunters on, you HAVE to read them in order.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Hey Guys! So I'm a newbie to the forums, kept finding them while reading the books and had to flee spoilers. I've finally finished the series, after possibly murdering my undergrad degree by fitting Malazan around it for the past two years, and figured now was a safe time to wander into the forums. Soooo....that series was intense to say the least. Do any of you know of a good form of rehab after Erikson?

Hi there.
Name's theTummy and I'm aching to get my hands on "The Crippled God'. But first I might reread the series again, cause I most assuredly missed more than I can conceive.
