I was a member here years ago. I took a break from the novels and I'm now re-reading my way back to the most current books. I'm a great fan of Erikson. I've read as far as Deadhouse Gates, but I decided that before I get back into Memories of Ice, that I'd do a re-read, so huzzah for me and for renewed interest. Cheers.

Welcome, Fizz. You have been rewarded with newbie rep...

Slum, never posted in the new member intro thread as a newcomer.

I got a fair amount of rep or my first post, though. Rep to whomever knows what my first post/thread discussion was.

Hi, I'm another Malazan addict.

I stayed away from the books for a long time, not wanting to read another big series that's not yet finished, but with the exchange rate as it is, mass market paperbacks are dead cheap in Germany and you get a lot of book for less than five bucks with the Malazan ones, so when I looked for something to take with me on my trip to Wales, I bought the first two.

I should never have done that. ;) I now now have all books up to Reapers Gale sitting on my shelf, waiting to be read. And they're pushing other books that have waited longer for my attention out of the line. Not to mention I'm going to get Toll the Hounds in hardcover which is not dead cheap even in Germany.

Is there a therapy group or something? :D

There is no therapy group. Only the forums.

q21, giving new members the hard, cold truth.

Greetings all malazans! Joseph Danielsson from Sweden here, brother of Gem Windcaster.
I am a christian ( not brainwashed or fermented ) and a kind of Pastor/Preacher.
Plays music mainly in progressive white metal and plays guitar and does vocals.
Have read some of the malazan books and find it quite intriguing.

Why would it mean that? If anything, less nice.
