I can similarly confirm that my better half will not be joining us Posted Image

That's a bit unfair Broody, don't confuse not wanting to talk to you and speaking with someone more interesting with 'hitting on'.

Anyway are you volunteering as a surrogate? Well done.

I might hit on Mr PigDog, I've seen him, I've had worse. Or I could bring the saintly and long suffering Mrs Cougar.

If I may take a moment to get a little uppity, Jonzaboi! People getting on well does not constitute hitting on each other, thank you very much.

To be fair to Broody, he's young and innocent and unlikely to be able to tell the subtle difference. I don't think he does much hitting upon, nor does he receive the hitting.

I reckon this year we should spend some time in the Christmas market. Eat some Bratwurst, drink some mulled wine and me and Hetan can go shopping again!

Ooh! Shopping! excellent :p mulled wine + bratwurst = puking :p
ah what the hell - it's Christmas, we'll just have to find someone walking their dog.....

I am really looking forward to the whole thing. Rodeo will be quite the draw as well I reckon. I hope you are looking forward to the moment everyone gets too drunk to remember peoples real names. The first time you answer when someone calls you by your forum name is a moment every geek should savour!

Pfft, there's like three people max on the forum who remember my real name and no-one has ever actually referred to me by it. The only person I didn't use their forum name for was Rich The Great, which is only because I omitted the 'The Great' part of it. IRL IDENTITIES ARE FOR THE WEAK

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

It's even more confusing for me, most of the forum calls me by my real name when we are out. But most of my uni mates, including me when talking in the third person, refer to me as Cougar. It's madness I tell you.

Oh and Illy thine name ist Rob, but it sounds just too insipid and shit for a man in one of those shirts. Mind you we wont have to worry aout it since you're being A MONUMENTAL, SAND FILLED VAGINA and not coming.

Depends on what shifts I get for December, actually. I have the option of one no-consequence skipped day of work, but will need two, which I might be able to swing if I get the right days. Nothing confirmed at all yet, though, so just assume I'm not coming and then it'll be a pleasant surprise if I can.

UDON NOODLES! That's what I think everytime I think of your name, Illy. Said in an awful, slightly offensive sterotypical oriental accent.

I shall make no comments regarding too many protestations, and just be prepared for a clip round the ear ;)

Cool! Not only will there be drunken hitting upon... There will also be fightin'... It sounds like all the ingredients for a traditional British Christmas night out are in place ;)
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Does anyone else, when picturing these meets, imagine everyone's avatars sitting around? A cougar and the fat kid from the goonies and a monkey with glasses, etc. It's vastly amusing.

One of these days, I will be there for one of these.

Surprisingly accurate, though the first two you mentioned are the same person IIRC... ;)

If I'm not mistaken the fat kid from the Goonies is Mezla, who is not in fact the same person as cougar. Or am i missing something?

If you come, you should definitely bring a giant prosthetic nose with you.

Mezla definitely isn't me, if she was a figment of my imagination or vice versa we've both got very vindictive subconscienceses

I'm pretty certain Tiste was likening my real self to chunk from the Goonies.

Tiste wishes he was as pretty as me.
