Nooooo, in October I am going in the opposite direction, to Florida!

Mezla, is the floor space on a first-come first-served basis (no puns please, people, keep it clean)?

As Mezla says, let's see who is in first and then well sort out places for people to stay, we needn't firm up the details until the middle of November. I'm only trying to organise it this early so that people can get it in the diary.

Well get a list together in November and sort it out then, worry not people.

Oh my! This has to be done - to see the pantless wonder in action.. how could we resist? :) Unless it's the weekend or two we are away in October - that would really be a bummer.

If Rodeo lets us know his plans we can make this happen.

My plans are still nebulous, at best. I'm leaning towards an open-ended trip. So arrive sometime in the middle of or late October. Then toodle around, oh yes toodle until I feel like going home.

And see every Malazan bastard I can. And sleep on their couch. And drink their beer. All repaid with my smile and tall tales. :)

Drop me a PM if you want any help with making your trip as cheap as possible! The UK can be stupidly expensive. The Youth Hostel Association and planning train travel a few weeks in advance can be good cost cutting measures.

Well so long as you give us plenty of notice when you are going to be around we'll make sure you have a good time, and that is not in a dodgy "you want girl,no? Prefer boy?..." kind of way that's in a get as many people out an make sure you have a bed kind of way!

Yup - agree with all the above - there's a place in Cambridge for you if you want to spend a few days here and I'm sure Mal will be more than happy to help a fellow Canadian feel right at home :D :D

I shall try and get there, but I think God needs me here... :D I'd be up for a quick trip in October to see Rodeo though. :D

We'd be meeting up in the town centre, probably starting near Piccadilly Gardens for ease of meeting then moving out for some food and thendoing whatever, Fab cafe is a traditional venue since we are all geeks, we also like the Salisbury.

I've yet to ask for friday and monday off but since The Pogues are playing in Manchester that weekend I am mightily tempted to join up. :)

Does this mean that we are putting the band back together?

Is anybody interested in drinking a pint or two in London on friday the 11'th or possibly thursday the 10th?

Damn im very tempted by this as manchester isnt that far away from right now, however i would need somewhere to crash as the train ticket and booze (and food  ) is about all i can budget for :unworthy:
