..... SERIOUSLY, Thyr. Are you even playing this game?

You and HP had a fun little adventure on Day 2 trying to pretend to not quote role PMs while he gave you an alibi. If HP and you are sticking together so closely, why else wouldn't I call him scum? I know he doesn't have the kill (or you picked yourself to use it and not him) last night, or he's a symp or something because blocking him didn't stop a kill. But day 2 starts, Emur posts fairly early that he doesn't have a power and HP and you jump right on him like you're trying to rush the game to an end right there.

See I don't see why this equates to defending Emur. This equates to HP and you clearly being tied together but HP not having a/the kill. People have been suspicious of HP for his odd reveal in a presumed low TMDI game. Your reveal is another wacko power. You are both alive when I seriously can't imagine that in any kind of TOWN scenario where you have a heal power to just keep letting HP run his magic every night and 'find' scum. Why weren't you killed last night?

Yup, you are stupid and have no reason to think HP or I are evil beyond your WIFOM and your utter lack of posting. Grats on the RL excuse.

Why wasn't I killed last night? You tell me. Was it because you and Emu decided to whack a nobody so you could try to get me or HP lynched today? I think so.

Kudos on revealing your strategy. So you decided to kill a nobody so that HP could claim scum on someone and win the game?

Ohhh look, more wifom, which is all you have, lolguard.

FYI: Shinrei/Karatallid wasn't a "nobody". He was one of the 3 generals and therefore a major power role inno.

I meant regarding his presence on thread. He wasn't one of the polarizing posters. In fact wasn't there a case about him being middle of the road?

I love the emo play and insults you and HP have doled out all game, though. Truly goes to show that if you whine and stamp your feet people will tend to believe you.

Awww, its so cute that you attempt to imply that the holes in your 'reveal' don't exist because I push people. Is somebody being mean to you? Poor baby!

@Ruse: being a low-posting lurker with 1/7th the posts of the top poster doesn't help your case. Insults are infinitely preferable to outright absence.

Oh so my reveal suddenly has holes in it? Then I guess your and HP's reveals are missing an entire side.

Path-Shaper, a couple of questions, please. How imporant is Cao-Cao to the beginning of the story, or more pertinent, the YTR? Also, who were the main Han figures?

What is your favorite color? Do you like penguins? What's better, rainbows or butterflies?

My copy of Romance of the Three Kingdoms is currently on loan, but:

Wikipedia:

In 192, Cao Cao was able to gain the submission of a rebel army after they marched into Yan province. The Yellow Turbans eventually ceased to pose a military challenge by the year 205.

Then in the aftermath...

Finally, the warlord Dong Zhuo was able to gain control over the underage heir to the throne which he used as a legitimation for occupying the capital, which was ransacked on the occasion. Because of his cruelty, Dong Zhuo was murdered in 192, setting the stage for Cao Cao's rise to power.

Ergo, Cao Cao is one of the 3 major powers (between Sun Jian, Liu Bei, and Cao Cao) throughout the rest of the novel, and he is successful in his campaigns for the Han during the YTR.

well thyrllan i gave you a healing ability. which you should have gotten and obviously didnt.

vote thyrllan

i thought you were least likely to be killed and actually out of driss and yourself i expected you to be han.

HP votes Thyr for clearly not getting the ability, gasp.

View PostHood's Path, on Jul 29 2009, 12:35 AM, said:

originally i was going to stick with sorritt but then driss linked us on thread as sorritt being my symp and i guessed semi right in that he would probably be killed night 2 (expecting myself to go night 1).

you also went for emur first yesterday and switched to serc last so witht he anger and questioning last night i did think you were just an angry han. i cant think you recieve a heal power in the night and decided it would have been someone else, so unless i was guarded (which is a possibility given the reveal, but unlikely in my mind unless the yellow have one) you are yellow army.

i freely admit i am having a stinkin game, yesterday was my first day back at work for nearly a month and i am in very bad form due to a back injury. apologies to slick and dk, i cant help but feel 99% responsible for the stupidity of their deaths. hopefully i wasnt guarded and you are yellow army.

If people want to lynch me first, it will prove i am who and what i say i am, then they can use that info to either vig or lynch thyrllan tomorrow.

HP emos a "lynch me first" line while waiting for Thyr to get back and respond.

Thats funny, I received Catapults from the Imperial Armory last night, and they certainly don't let me heal anything.

That would be why I asked you, because you said you give out guards and heals...

Have not yet read past this post.

Oh ho, Thyr didn't get a heal, he got... CATAPULTS. Clever way to keep the argument going when nobody else is in any hurry to vote.

i definitely supplied a healing ability to you. i am in charge of logistics and supplies offensive and defensive. i dont see how catapults could eb construed as healing ability. so i assume you recieved a vig f you are telling the truth.

More arguing.

Oh my... the intrigue!

As I said, I received Catapults from the Imperial Armory last night. I recieved no heal power whatsoever.

So, you were either guarded, or lying about your role.

I still think your reveal is bullshit, so I will
vote Hoods Path

Escalating...

View PostHood's Path, on Jul 29 2009, 06:24 AM, said:

alright pathshaper confirmed, offensive supplies are catapults and are a heal, defensive supplies are fireworks and a re a guard.

beats me.

sorry thyr

remove vote

And the diffusion with 'sorry thyr"

So... does that make HP definitively the symp? If you were chatting no doubt you'd reveal what you got right away. Nice back and forth, though with some untestable PS confirmation.

Aww Ruse, its so cute that you just did a summary of the beginning of day two.

Your only actual game content so far has been a bullshit reveal defending Emurlahn from what I can see.

Amp it's just as untestable as the PM "summary" I just mentioned, but it's RL stuff. Tonight's the first night in a while I've had to sit and relax. Got a big trip planned this weekend and been getting ready for it.

1. Cao Cao is of medium importance in the Yellow Turban Rebellion chapters (the first 2 chapters) of Rot3K. He's a cavalry commander under He Jin but not particularly important (even Yuan Shao is a couple officer levels above him and he's still lower then Lu Zhi, Huangfu, etc). That being said, the book gives him a fair amount of focus in the beginning just because he'll be so important later on. The book is actually about right compared to historical accounts.

Main Han figures were the Emperor, the 10 Regular Attendants, the Empress He, the Empress Dowager (empress' mother), He Jin (the Regent Marshal), and his 3 top generals (Zhu Jun, Lu Zhi, Huangfu Song). Yuan Shao, an officer under He Jin, has some mild importance. That part jives with history as well. There are also various governors of provinces and commanderies such as Gonsun Zan or Liu Yan who did some fighting or sent out troops under their own officers, and finally minor warlords like Sun Jian who did the same. The book gives extra importance to characters like Liu Bei or Sun Jian who in actuality did very little during the rebellion, but the book wants to introduce their virtue for later when they really are important.

Fav color: purple. I love penguins. Butterflies lead to butterfly nets which can be used to catch leprechauns, so butterflies.
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.

I'll buy RL stuff. Sadly, I don't have a lot of RL stuff until Sat. when we'll either be DEAD or on a way to victory (hopefully). But, if you are scum, Ruse. Shame on you.
