He has a DST. I'd say go with the highest rated player left on Yahoo's board, regardless of position.

I'm quite happy for anyone whose online at the time to do the pick for him from yahoo's list, it's just that I know I wont be so I cant do it, plus as Venge wont be around to make the following pick til after that, we may as well wait until the sort of time Venge would be picking in any case. As a wait is required in both instances, might as well use the waiting time to give Tub a final chance was my logic - all depends on what time Benge can get on though I guess.

EDIT: With that, Im off to bed - here's a clever solution:

VENGE - whenever you get online to make your pick, if Tuberski hasnt picked by that point, then pick the highest rated position he doesnt have (is it DST?) or best backup position for him, post it, then make your pick as normal. That way it's sorted easily. I;d say a RB.

I have to agree with TB here. An auto pick has to go to the starting line up before the bench. If you have ever done the yahoo live draft online, that is how it does auto picks for someone not there. If you want to get someone you wanted you kinda need to be here.

I missed the draft on my other league and had it all auto picked for me, I ended up with 2 kickers and 2 def's since it backs up every position.

That's because a computer is STUPID, Volkh. Backups are more important than kickers. Everybody drafts a kicker in the last round. That's just how it goes. Pretending otherwise is attempting to do Tuberski a disservice. Do you honestly believe HE would pick a kicker at this point?

I agree they are HD, but I also think you should have a full starting roster before getting back ups auto picked for you.

I think Tuberski knows after last time that the agreement was, if you haven't picked after 24 hours, you get the highest ranked player of the position you don't have. We could have chosen a kicker last time and didn't, we gave him the highest ranked DST. I think if you want someone and you can't bother to be around to pick them, then you are stuck going with the agreed upon plan. We are all aware of the time limit, I PMed and that is as far as I am willing to go. I'm not trying to do anyone a disservice, if anything I am trying to be as fair as possible to everyone else. If Venge wants to pick before Tuber go ahead, I have no problem with that. I am not going to start trying to figure out back up position picks for people though.

in agreement with TB on this, if they arent around tpo pick or havent made arrangements, we shouldnt pick there team for them and go through and decide what they need, if the person cant make a pick within 24 hours, they should get the highest ranked player.
