Yay Torres didn't play, awesome! Top of both leagues! Gonna take a screenshot because I don't expect it to last ;)

Well, I only found this site a few weeks in to the season.

However, since my team consists entirely of injured people (Modric, Torres, Cattermole, to name but a few) I think I'm happy to wait until next August anyway ;)

And next year I'll remember that filling your bench with cheap shit so you can maximise your first XI is not a great idea...

It's all about picking the right cheap shit and also making sure you have players who don't get injured often. I have Ebanks-blake, Berra and Ferguson as my bench, and I am doing ok. Why don't you use your wildcard?

Because at this stage it would be like trying to cure a decapitation with a band aid.

We are barely halfway through the season, so you can make a comeback! Never give up!

I'm thinking maybe I should have acted much quicker. The question now is whether or not I forget to do a load of transfers before next set of matches, given that I need to leave it closer to the dealine incase of injuries and suchlike...

I love Wildcards :(

In come Benitez, Essien, Bullard, Dempsey, Jordan, Adebayor, Agbonlahor, Fabregas, Shawcross and Ivanovic for Cole, Figueroa, Faye, Barry, Fletcher, Arshavin, Bent, Duff, Keogh and Saha. And lo, 52 points already, with at least 10 more on their way from subs and further games. Booya :(

Haha, as far as I can tell, noone in the entire league had Defoe on their team.

I'm just annoyed I had Sorensen on the bench :(. But Friedel has another game to play, maybe he can save a few penalties for Villa or something.

Hopefully I can finally start to turn my season around - I've been in a pretty bad slump recently :(.

I do (Tottenham produced over half my points this week), but I'm lagging by miles anyway :(

Woop! I'm top of the league! I would have posted earlier than this, but I've been avoiding the site for some months due to reading DoD (yes, it's taken some time - I'm a busy man!)

Of course, now that I've boasted of my enviable position, I am sure to start sliding rapidly down the league table.

I have no idea what's going on. I saw the results last weekend and assumed i would be plummeting down the table. Then i logged in last night and see i'm up to 3rd!!!
I forgot that i had noticed Fulham were playing twice in the same gameweek, and had put schwarzer, konchesky and hangeland in my team. Cue surprise 3-0 midweek victory.

It's a pity i made so many bad choices early on with my transfers. I have no money, and can't find any suitable replacements for the forwards i have at the moment. Plus i have an everton player in my backline! Talk about smoke and mirrors with my team selections.

Some nice results for me today :D. Goals for Wright-Phillips, Duff, Rodallega and a Hat Trick for Rooney :D. Plus the clean sheet for Sorensen...I'm hoping to make big gains this week! 45 points excluding bonuses, and I've still got Fabregas, Vermuelen and Craddock to come tomorrow...after a very poor October, it's starting to turn around.

Arsenal defenders would seem a risk, with how well Chelsea are playing, but the gamble might pay off, since I benched Vermaelan...

God damn it, I spent all week trying to figure out how to get both Giggs and Rooney into my team for this weekend. Didn't have enough money to get both in, but instead of choosing one or the other, I went and got neither! I don't know what I was thinking. Perhaps it was all part of some long-term strategy which I've since forgotten in the despondency of seeing my score so far this week. At least the Rodallega transfer worked out....come on Drogba - five goals at least tomorrow!
