Yeah, Darren Bent saved my bacon too.

I'm just floating around mid-table, don't really like my team but not much i can do about it without using my wildcard. Without seeing any of this seasons games, or even highlights for that matter, i have no real feel for who's playing well. It's very frustrating.

I'm very impressed by the start that the top 5 in our league have made.

The torres keano strike partnership works wonders, take note rafa.
Surged up the table thanks to 7 goals between the 2, now sitting pretty at 6th

"I think i was a bad person before. Before this time. I do not try to be good now but i am not bad. Perhaps if i try harder i may get a better hand dealt next time? But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

That's also the only game Keane has really preformed.

I haven't seen all of Tottenhams matches, but it seems to me like it's Defoe and Lennon who's the real offensive force for the spurs.

Yeah, Keane is just an all-round workhorse, with some serious quality when he gets the opportunity. Defoe is more of an out-and-out striker these days though, so gets more goals, and inevitably, more attention for it. What Rafa never understood is that Keane is much better when he plays in the hole, as a link between midfield and striker, rather than way up-front. Spurs have occasionally looked like they were playing a 4-2-3-1 formation in the early parts of the year, with Palacios and Huddlestone holding in midfield, Modric, Keane and Lennon all behind Defoe, which makes for very fluid movement and is an excellent way to confuse defenders! Not playing like that at the moment though, with Modric out...

No, Rafa tried him there, but Keane didn't connect with Torres. And there's no way in hell we're putting out Torres if he's fit.

Torres looks a bit jaded at the moment.

Yes, 5 goals in 2 games does speak of an uninterested man.

I don't ever think I'll get bored of watching that man score hattricks. Unless Liverpool should sell him to United. Then I might get a bit bored. Like with Owen. I'm just bored when he scores now. Honest.

My team's going to shit now. Still, 32 points last round and you still didn't catch up means that yours are as well.

Imagine my amazement when I only get 39 points this week, and yet still go up the table. Astonishing, bad weeks for most people this time.

Yeah, I got 42 and went up 3 places. I expect I'll go back down once tonight's match is done though -- I've only got a defender from Fulham in my squad.
It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about nowadays saying things against one, behind one's back, that are absolutely and entirely true.

I hate you*...and it's all your fault... :p

I think I've only scored 39 points this season, let alone in one week...stupid football is stupid...where's my fantasy knitting/sewing league...I'd slaughter you all at that.

*Only joking, I love you really :p
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.
