Very true, as it turns out. I should have put benched Vermaelen and put in Bowyer, that would have been another goal for me...

Still, I'm temporarily up to 4th, which is very pleasing (although I imagine I'll be overtaken by a few people who have Drogba in their team when the table incorporates today's results...). My season is back on track!

It's funny, I'm top in this league, but a hundred points behind the leader in the other league I'm involved in - albeit second (the guy whose top in that league is in the world's top 100, so he's kicking all our asses).

I'm going to have to learn my lesson and actually play Bowyer - another assist today, he's on a hot streak - that's 22 points in three games!

Horrible week for me. Third straight week that my captain only got the two standard points, but this time the rest of my team didn't cover his ass.

And Fabregas, Dindane, Lampard and Defoe all missing penalties. Wow. Add to that Murphy missing one in the Europa League, Ballack in the Carling Cup, and Ronaldo in La Liga, and it's been the worst week in history for taking penalties!

Will have to write this week off as a disaster. I mean, Fabs misses a penalty and STILL gets more points than my captain. Time to start planning for next week, and already things looking more rosy, with most of my players at home. Hmmm, I planned to get Bowyer in for next week in place of Dempsey, but now feel I may have missed that train a bit. Thinking maybe get Stanislas instead, just have a feeling about him.

Top points score this week, woo-hoo! 77 -- best score for a long time. Dunne is paying dividends, and Milner and Arshavin did well. Maybe it's not so hopeless after all!

I can't believe I got 43 points last week and actually went down the table. 30 points higher than the average score!!

didn't want to spoil it in case there'd be big transfers, which weren't unlikely with the Chelski transfer ban set for the summer. Pity it got recalled.

Looks like the chasing pack are all going to make inroads into Impirion's lead at the top - we've all got players playing tomorrow and on Wednesday. Hopefully after this it'll make for an interesting last couple of months! :rolleyes:
