He's having difficulty swallowing, slurring his speech, and his right hand isn't working all that well. That's my favorite family group. Their youngest has always been like a brother to me and my brother.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I'm not sure what's bothering me worse. His stroke, or my seeming numbness to it. I don't know.

@ HD - really sorry to hear that. I don't know what else to say to you, hope he recovers soon and that you take care of yourself. You are in shock probably, that'll wear off, take it easy on yourself okay?
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

Well, it's kind of sinking in right now as I talk about it. I might be... in and out for a while. Sorry. I don't want to cloud the thread up the game with me being... fucked up, really.

@HD - this is just a game. Family and RL come first. And like I said you need to look after yourself as well. Have you got anyone you can talk to?

I'll be fine. It's my mom I'm worried for, mostly. I'll be back later. Gonna go chill or something.

Awh, shame guys that's terrible. It was my girlfriend's stepdad's funeral today. Unfortunately I never knew the guy but he sounded pretty awesome.

Ok....normally it's my style to read up and then comment - I don't usually say "here and catching up" before I start reading, but dammit there are 28 fucking pages of stuff to go through!

Spam kings are competing obviously, and the game started in the middle of my beddy-bye time. <sigh>

Anyone wanna post a summary while I start slogging through? :p

It is Day 1. 21 hours and 4 minutes remaining

9 Players still alive: alt146, Breadmaster, bwgan, D'rek, Gem Windcaster, HoosierDaddy, Lisheo, morgoth45, Shinrei

5 votes to lynch, 5 votes to go to night

2 votes for Shinrei: ( Lisheo, morgoth45 )
1 vote for Gem Windcaster: ( Breadmaster )

Players not voted: alt146, bwgan, D'rek, Gem Windcaster, HoosierDaddy, Shinrei

----

I'm out for a pool party BBQ for several hours so if you hoodlums end up with a lynch while I'm gone, please do not discuss any night actions or make any comments like, "Haha you're dead," or anything like that. Reveals are a no-no!

Finally, remember to submit actions if you haven't and wish to do so. Any failures to submit will be counted as taking no action and I will have no pity on you.

Ciao.

Some stuff happened then there were some votes; you and gem almost got lynched some more stuff...oh and some dragons visited but got ninjad. I watched some films and Lish is drunk.

Oh and I forgot to say that our polite feud notwithstanding I refused to allow them to lynch you until you had at least one post....so read very, very quickly! :p

I see I have some votes due to someone stealing my King of Hell line.

I assure you, I've been asleep and just woke up now. Still reading, so I don't know if any of the "alts" have outed themselves or if there's an explanation why they are here.

Back to skimming.
