He was the Spider's assistant; she was a frail old woman so she wasn't able for fieldwork. Sort of like how Topper is Surly's assistant in the Claw.

It could be that that is the only faction that would disperse. I dunno. Then again, maybe that's why the extra victory conditions were put in. There's a chance that the one of the two factions left with a majority won't have killed the required leader yet, which could lead to an interesting leader-hunt, especially if the dispersed members of the defeated factions aren't told who their new leader is.
...
I hope that made sense.
With that said, however, I am trying to decide if Korlat was telling the truth about the single vig. On one hand, why would he reveal to get Kaschan lynched if he had more kills to finish the job he started. Maybe he had two kills and new that Kaschan getting lynched would give him one more night to blow the rest of his load. On the other hand, why would he use a one-shot vig on the first night? Just because he alted dibs? I'm not sure I buy that either.

Hrm. Solid enough role that it could support the two-leaders-to-topple theory. Sixty mentioning before that the game could take a long time leads me to think that a simple kill-one-leader from each faction wouldn't be enough to bring them down.
It also probably means the Gray King is scared shitless for his faction.

Well that means (obviously) that Meanas wasn't the Basarvi leader and Lio wasn't the GK leader (pretty sure everyone agrees he was the Falconer), if that logic holds true. And the GB have yet to suffer a fatality.
Which would mean they probably didn't gain anyone from the distribution of alts; I reckon the Grey King got the most, simply because the Falconer was the biggest bad-ass motherfucker in the series (he should have been in a group on his own, he was pretty much unbeatable in the book, and potentially could have had killing, guarding and healing powers).

Is the Falconer the "Bondsmage" described in the wiki?

You'll have to wait for SH to find out why I used my vig; just be happy with the image of DiBs tearing his hair out in rage, and Morgoth laughing, laughing, laughing at him lol.

D'riss has disappeared; if he doesn't appear in the next hour, that's fucking bad play. I can understand getting modkilled for not having access, but getting modkilled after spending a good while lurking? That irratates me.

So he's got like 1:20 to post or he gets modkilled.

Would piss me off a great deal if he was a leader or power player.

Well why would D'riss lurk unless he IS a power player? He hasn't acted noob really, although Eloth has called him one and wanted to vote him for it.
I could maybe kinda sorta see him lurk to avoid putting his foot in his mouth if he was the GK and knows he's already in trouble, but if he doesn't post and is modkilled and his faction is split up, that would be game over for everyone else unless Basarvi gets enough to make it even... and that's still one lynch from game-over.
And besides, why not post SOMETHING rather than just sit there suspiciously if you don't want to get your faction killed?

There's plenty to comment on safely today; all he needed to say was "wow, DiBs was the spider?!" or something similar, but he didn't even do that.

I think hes commenting on the distribution of the Spider's team... That one is making my head hurt myself, so I'm avoiding thinking of it... As we don't even know the number of players...
A:5
B:4+X-1
C:4+Y-1 (with their main goal complete)
D:(4+Z-2)/2
So, we have 3+X and 3+Y, each getting a part of D... Just by sheer balancing of the game, I'd have to imagine that the Grey King got the numerical advantage if it exists, because 1) they are being hunted by a team who now have no natural enemy, and the team they have to kill has already achieved one victory condition. So, I would say the Grey King now have five members, and the Barsavis are back to four. Unfortunatly, that's just an assumption.

I have to bounce for a bit. We'll see if D'riss posts in 45 mins or goes to heaven.
