Kaschan and Meanas were two of the highest posters so this suddenly feels very lonely. Korlat, where are you? You managed to not die.

Having only limited time on the interwebz at the moment I sudenly understand all the spam hate. its painful wading through it, and then trying to make sense of it and then having time to post.
As far as I can see we are none the wiser now, other than the spider faction has gone.
If there were players left from that faction and they were redistributed then we could essentially have 3 intact factions, or too not intact and one super charged, or one intact one not and one better off than they were. And so on and so on.

Typical I finally get to post something and every bastid disappears. Might be able to get back on in about 8 hours, otherwise see you in about 15.

Well, that was interesting and unexpected.
Anyone any comments?

Theoretically, that means that if one faction simply kills all three leaders, they win, am I right? Interesting.

D'riss, your lurking without commenting is starting to piss me off.

Actually, D'riss, in about two hours you will be modkilled. Best get posting, brother.

I'm back and see little has happened, but if all factions disperse like the Camorra, you would be correct, Korlat.

Ah that's right, it's only 24 hours for a modkill. Wonder who else may be in trouble, if anyone.
edit: Quick check of the post list lets me believe nobody else is in any danger.

Interesting; interesting. However, that requires both factions to enter the endgame to remain at exactly the same number, if a leader isn't killed during the night after the previous one is; which would be difficult to arrange. Damnit. That means, the team with the majority (who's identity I do not know) cannot be targetted next; we don't know the number distribution yet, and the odds of it not being my team are 50-50, which doesn't appeal to me. So, actually, we can't hit another leader right now, or the game may end by default with no one having little control over the result.

Wait, what the hell are you smoking? This paragraph makes no sense.

To clarify my majority musings: We can't hit another leader, because then the roles will be distributed, and as the chances are one of the teams have fulfilled their victory condition, they will win by default if they gain the majority by alt distribution. Although perhaps the mods would try to counter that.

Sorry, I'm very sleepy, I just woke up, so I might not be making a huge amount of sense at the moment.

Two lurkers and D'riss along with me and Silanah? You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Okay, I see what you're saying. I was thinking the Spider faction was dissolved because Roland and the Spider were killed but you could be right in that it's actually just the Spider's death that caused it. Kind of makes the factions very frail if one death topples them and probably means less NKs and more Wound-type kills.

I had assumed that was the way it would be, seeing as I only had one kill. I reckon there's only one kill per faction, and then maybe a wounder.

I have finished the book; if it takes two members to die, then the set-up would be:
Falconer and Grey King
Spider and Roland
Locke and Jean
Nazca and Capa (because Nazca was gonna be his successor iirc)

Well that means (obviously) that Meanas wasn't the Basarvi leader and Lio wasn't the GK leader (pretty sure everyone agrees he was the Falconer), if that logic holds true. And the GB have yet to suffer a fatality.
