I dunno, with only 2 factions left, with Gray King gone, that means the faction in the lead wins by default.

That's what I'm thinking; however, both the GBs and the Barsavis would profit from the Grey King dying... I'd like to get a handle on the GBs honestly

Barsavi have lost a member; the GBs haven't. Theyre the only faction that are still whole, possibly even more than whole if P-S gave them a Spider.

It could be in our best interest to eliminate the GK faction, or it might not. It depends I suppose on how you see your team's standing and what you feel your leaders can pull off with day/night actions. With the Spider faction dead, that puts the Barsavi in pretty good shape, with the GB's not far behind.

I think this is the part where people are hesitant on which faction to push because it probably outs them too much.

It really depends on what potential night actions have... I haven't seen much evidence of them kicking much ass yet.

Well based on sixty's early statement, we probably have wound, and people have 2-4 counters, and there's probably guards and heals that make it less effective, and limited kills.

Hmmmm. This night; being the third, could provide an interesting headcount then, potentially. Which could mean this is our last time to have a lynch with the factions more or less balanced

I'm back Overslept this morning and still feel groggy

So this has effectively become a three faction Merc Game, but that was an extraordinary measure and splitting of players will not happen again. The players could have been split in any number of ways, but it should be safe to assume the factions are still reasonably balanced. With the deaths the numbers will probably be in the region of GK <= Barsavi <= GB.

With one less faction and the numbers closer together, people are likely going to start playing a little more cautiously to avoid revealing their faction.

@Eloth and Kara - I think its been pretty well explained in thread what characters would be aligned with what faction. What's confusing you? I am sure someone on here will answer.

The player redistribution explanation is useful, but doesn't that mean we are effectively at day 1 again, except we know a bit more about Korlat?

Not exactly. People may be wounded or investigated, there's a good lot of info around hidden under the currents and the leaders have had time to identify their followers. We've also seen a few CFs and have some ground for speculation as to the numbers backed up with some evidence. Finally, it all depends on how the mods distributed the Spider's followers.

If it wasn't a split based on the situation at the start of the game but on the current state of affairs, I'll be severely disappointed because good play is then essentially undone by mod intervention. I do expect the mods to be sensible fellows, though

Pretty much. And we dont even know that much about Korlat.

He's been smug all around since the start of day 2, survived the night (!)*, claims GB membership and claims credit for the downfall of the Spider faction. Moreover, a lynch train on him will force his teammates either to jump on, or to refuse to do so and show their outline & numbers to the other two. I sense some need in you to keep him around and downplay what leads he represents. Which means that you are quite likely a GB too.

* despite being a fairly likely target for actions, just like Rashan.
