I kinda like the effort of trying to get modkilled for the team. It's the kind of 'exploit the game' tactics that I always love. If he had been really smart, he'd just asked for a modkill without telling you the real reason.

He should have been modkilled, for announcing it on thread and getting Path-Shaper to respond on thread and lend him some meta-CI, since it's against the rules. It's also game breaking for any game and you are encouraging the behavior in the future..all of this after you barely play for seven days and come on to basically throw away the game for the inno's, some of who put in a decent amount of work into the game. That's cool, but it almost seems like you've been gloating about it.

I'm still wondering what kind of self-esteem do you need to actually ASK the umpire to kick you out of the game for the sake of your own team.

Forget red-carding, I would take a serious voluntary break of many games after that if it ever happens.

Well if you're modkilled you lose the game no matter what. If you drop the CF there is no 'game play' incentive to do it. And if you red card for game-breaking modkills, people won't do them.

Seems simple to me.

hey, sorry for the prolonged absence, but I'm back now.. The game has exploded beautifully ..

now off to read the game thread..

And yeah, a no cf mod kill is good. But seriously, anyone who use modkilling as an ingame tactic will find it hard to find spots in my games I think. It goes against the whole purpose of the game and ruins it for everyone.

m45 didn't go through with it, mind you, so no worries.
