I've made some choices to how I wish to approach the game, mainly that I want to keep as little as possible hidden from the players. There's only two things that will not be told in the intro posts; one concerning the mechanics of the infected role, and one concerning the Dradin Kashmir role. So, the fact that the DP can force the infected to vote one way or the other will be told in the role section of the intro posts.

Also, this is the order of night actions:
Guard -> Heal -> Synapse overload (not affected by guard) ->Infect -> Find -> Desinfect -> Kill


The killers (representatives of the Caliphate):

1. Killer

3. Symp
4. Symp (Ninja)

Rules for this team is pretty standard. The only thing out of the ordinary is that the killers do not get any choice come the Festival of the Squid. They still have their killing power and one shared BP for that night. They're foreigners after all and don't know to take the necessary precausions.

The Doppelganger
1BP

Night Actions:
Infect -> standard recruit sort of power
Chose Replacement -> decides which infected player will become the new DG if the original DG dies. The DG v.2 has all the powers of the original except for the BP and the Chose Replacement power.
Synapse Overload -> The DG can decide to kill any number of infected players
Compulsion -> All infected are compelled to vote for a specific alt. They are allowed to vote for as many players as they want during the day, but they need to have their vote on the chosen target when the day ends. If they fail to do this then the compulsion becomes so severe it tears their minds apart and they die. Example: The DG compells the infected to vote Kalse. The infected can vote on whomever they wish, but when the day ends their vote needs to be on Kalse or they die.

Before the begining of day 1, the mods draw a random alt to be infected. ( I've inserted this to prevent people from realising too easily that the original DG is dead. If the player lynched day 1 comes up infected there will be less incentive for further infected to work towards the DG's favour.)

The DG comes up as infected upon death.

The infected

The infected are of no faction. If they die while being infected they automatically lose, no matter which faction ends up victorious. There is but three exceptions. 1) An infected that dies while being the DG's chosen replacement will potsthumously be included in the DG's faction and thus win when the DG wins. 2) If an infected player holds a killing power and use that to kill Duncan Shriek (or after Duncan's death; Janice Shriek) the infected becomes a full fledged symp of the DG and learns the identity of its master. 3) An infected can return to its original faction by being cured by Duncan or Janice shriek.

This will not be revealed in the thread: While infected, one is not allowed to reveal what alt the infected are –or have been– compelled to vote for.

The infected retains all powers they held previous to infection. The infected come up as infected upon death.

If the DG v2 dies, all infected are cured.

If all players are infected, or it's obvious that the DG faction will win, the infected stil alive win as part of the DG faction.

The innocents

6. Duncan Shriek - Duncan is the only player immune to infection. Each night he can pick one player to disinfect. If Duncan targets the DG or the DG v2, his power works as a find. Duncan knows the identity of Janice Shriek and will be told if she bcomes infected. Duncan will come up infected upon death.

7. Janice Shriek - Janice knows the identity of Duncan Shriek. When Duncan dies Janice inherits all of his powers. Before Duncan's death, Janice will come up innocent.

8. Dradin Kashmir - RI
(What will not be revealed is that on night 2 he'll receive a fake guard or healing action to be used that night. The player he targets will be the one he falls in love with. From there on his role changes.
Dradin In Love - With the final release of his jungle fever, Dradin once more is the capable and strong priest who survived years as a missionary in the jungle. Perhaps unfortunately, a side effect of the fever releasing its grip is that he falls in love with the first person he meets. The player he targeted night two will be the person he falls in love with. The player targeted will not be informed of Dradin's love.
Effects: From the moment of his role change, Dradin's victory condition becomes the victory condition of the player he loves. He will do everything in his power to keep that player alive and well.
If a player targets Dradin's love (A), Dradin ( kills that player.
If a player targets B for a kill, both the player and Dradin dies.
IF both A and B are targeted, B kills the player targeting A
IF B is targeted by more than one player, B dies without taking anyone with him.


9. King Squid - 1 BP . Kills any finders that targets it.

10. Frederik Madnok - RI (Believes himself to be the King Squid, ergo he will recieve the King Squid role in his original pm. The reality is that he's a standard RI)

15. Soldier of Frankden & Lewden Publishing - Suicide bomber, at any time during the day, the suicide bomber may place a specific sentence in his post (I haven't decided what it should be yet). The first player to post following this sentence will be caught in the blast of the soldier's fungal bomb. Both the soldier and the other player dies. The day does not end.

16. Duelist - A RI in essence. The duelist is however lethal one on one. If the game reaches a point where a killer/the DG and the Duelist are the only two players left alive. The Duelist will kill the other player and win the game as his own faction. The Duelist is a part of the inno faction and wins if the inno faction wins.

The Festival of the Squid

The festival of the squid is a massive, yearly festival that starts as a feast and celebration of the King Squid, and deteriorates into violence, and sometimes gruesom masacres. No one knows exactly why this is, though many theories have been presented up through the years, blaming everything from the Caliphate to the King Squids themselves and the Grey Caps.

Game effects:
As night three starts, PS posts an intro post to the festival in thread, explaining that the night has been extended from 12 to 16 hours. Every player receives a pm telling them that they can chose between a bp and a vig to be used for that night only in addition to their regular power. The DG and the Killes are the exception. The BP power only protects from one kill attempt.

The Killers: The killers get a single 1 hit BP between them. They will not be informed of this, nor any other aspects of the Festival outside of what's posted in thread.

The DG receives no bonus.

Looks like there are some very fun roles here . My sense of balance in these things is rather poor, but there are plenty of inno power roles to counteract what looks to be some reasonably strong Killer and Cult teams. So if the DG gets his hands on a killer or a lover, their partners are not informed, correct? I could see the killers being rather scuppered if the DG picks them out early (then again, the same thing applies to the DG, I guess...)

No, I actually think that the line ups balance the game out even more. You have some really good evil players. Then obdi as DG (great) and then the inno's have a good line up in the power roles.
