I'd suggest a higher number than 12, considering the number of players we have here (at least 24). And sometimes the mini's last a week or more, which means a week or more in which a lot of people who might've wanted to play lose the opportunity.

I think that if we implement the 'any two of those criteria' aspect then it works - so 12 players or less will be a mini in any case, but if it has those other two and the full range of players it's still a mini.

Well in the 5ish month I've been playing, it's been more like mini's as a short "break" between the big games. As long as it's faster than a week it shouldn't be a big deal IMHO if there's 15-16 players.

And if we let people play in both simultaneously, well...it'd get incredibly confusing, to say the least. I'd foresee a lot of "oh shit wrong alt" posts.

Yeah I could see something like that happening. If you were playing in one then I don't think you should play in the other.
