I thought it was pretty clear that the daughter was conceived during Susan and Harry's S&M sex romp.
It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about nowadays saying things against one, behind one's back, that are absolutely and entirely true.

I don't see when else it could be, unless she was already pregnant back when she was first vamp'd (book 3 iirc), went off to South America, had the kid, returned for the wild monkey bondage vampsex (book 6?) and didn't mention her, which would make the kid about three years older if i have my Dresden timeline right.

I'm hoping Butcher doesn't pull a 'she may not be your daughter but i lied so you'd come running to save her Harry'.

- Abyss, also notes i hate you Obdigore.

Yea in the preview chapters Susan reveals she was nailing the Merlin and Peabody at one of their White Council Orgies in South America that Harry was never invited to, but she really thinks the kid is Dresden's because she wants it to be.

So I shouldn't mention that Mac made a new Brew called 'Cowls Concoction' that Harry didn't have time to investigate in that chapter?

How does Mac know Cowl? Is Cowl really Thorned Nashmiel in a deep robe? Is Kumari actually Harry's mother?

Preview chapter is completely awesome.

Wasn't sure whether or not I'd get this as soon as it came out(Liked turn coat, but I feel the series is(or was, depending on the quality of changes) getting worse, with the exception of occaisional books). Pretty sure I'll be getting it now though...

AHHHH I just finished reading Changes this morning... got it for my birthday yesterday. Between my squeals of glee, pumping fists, dancing around the house, crying hysterically, the tearing out of my hair and screams of frustration... I think all of my roommates think I'm crazy.
As I WON'T list any spoilers for those of you who haven't read it yet, all I'll say is MINDBLOWING. Seriously, Changes is a very apt name for this book. EVERYTHING changes. NOTHING stays the same. If the above description of my emotional ADD didn't do it for you, believe me when I say I shook, literally SHOOK for about 1 hour after finishing this book.
GAH.

Or you could just, y'know, go get the book.

Oh, what's that? I'm sorry Obdigore, is it not available for you yet. That's a shame. I'm sure the teaser chapters are very nice tho'. I'll think of you as i'm reading the book. FOR THE SECOND TIME!

It is ok my friend, I was busy moving to DE this week and am still unpacking. By tuesday I should be finished with said unpacking, and over the Bronchitis, so I can relax in the 80 degree (F) weather on my porch, sipping on Yuengling (which is one of Macs ales) and reading this thing in the sun shine.
