I think that we should just lock the thread on the weekends. I remember that Gem did that in one of her first games modding and it worked pretty well. Might not be a bad idea going into the summer months. During the winter most of us are stuck inside anyway so it is much more likely that the majority of people will have internet access. But when it is nice out forgettabout it.

-Vengeance not bias against weekend playing at all in any way what so ever.

I think it was my first Heroes game - true, it was almost required due to the nature of the setup, which was crazy. :p

Except that when its summer in the north its winter in the south and vice versa... some of us don't have a nice outside to go play in right-about now...

Man, Mappo's thread in the Inn has me all excited for Twilight Mafia again, even though that's not for like months. Only problem is it'll be much, much, much better if I get a *lot* of people, like Heroes 2 which had 2 dozen or so. When do you figure is the best time of year for getting a huge number?

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Ah, that's good. Looks like that might be around when it gets to mine, too, since I'm about 12th or 13th in the list now, just as long as there aren't too many inserted ahead of mine that should be about 4-5 months from now if my math-fu is working.

@JA - nothing much happening...I think everyone is afraid Benses will break the board again! :D

Need to let you know, that I won't be on until about 9 p.m. GMT (DST) tomorrow, as I have college...and another 'not an exam'. (It's not an exam, but you can't take notes in, you can't talk, you can't ask for help, you have separate desks laid out in rows, you have a set time within which to finish, but it's NOT an exam! :) )
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

The lack of on thread activity reminds me uncomfortably of Mafia 38.5. After I killed off Morgy and DiBs on Night 1, it felt like I had to literally drag the game through the next 2-3 days, because barely anyone was posting. Just hope the same thing doesn't happen here...hopefully it'll be better tomorrow.

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

I'm curious to see the effect of the freeze, if any. I think as scum I'd love it for likely washing away all those small inklings of suspicion and creating a new "breaking in" day. On the other hand, I would probably worry about town getting a different perspective after walking away from the game for a few days. Seems pretty bad for the game to me on first take, but I am pretty cynical.

NOTE TO ALL

The week-end break will soon end.

The current day's timer will start again, and the day will end monday 20:00 (8PM) GMT.

Seems pretty clear I can only assume that is 12 hours from now since I suck at figuring out time-zones.

It's 00:10 here and I'm -8 GMT, so seems right.

Let them panic! :)
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I'd hope that as an innocent I'd vote for the first person back. Inno's shouldn't have anything to fear so it speaks volumes to me. Of course I know the answers at this point.

I think it's reasonable. I'll see what the players say, if they complain I'll add more.

Roleless Inno & modkill discussions aside, I've seen nothing of the game as of yet, and that includes Bubba being silenced :)

Want to sell work, any takers?

BUT, if Meanas does any sort of open reveal as finder/guard, kill Meanas.

RL, my wife is pissed at me because we should be hitting the road to visit her parents, but I wanted to pop off one last mail.

I hope I don't get lynched in the next 4 hours!

After confirming over at the temp board the Next Benses game must take place on either a Goodkind board or a twilight board.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.
