Any particular reason for Fener and Serc? I suppose maybe the fact they joined the train but didn't contribute much. Anything else?

edit: cross post

They seemed very under the radar, and I couldn't remember one post from the two of them. Looking over them, though, I am thinking I was just barking up the wrong tree and expecting more content from them, they don't seem overtly dodgy.

Ruse, you hopped around a bit with regards to shadow; one post you were saying he doesn't look too bad, the next you were commenting on how scummy Emurlah's vote was, and then dogging Shadow like a bloodhound on a trail; why the dramatic change?
Looking for any reason to vote for an inno???

My thoughts are not a lot clearer for that read. For what it's worth though, Korv's case on D'riss seems pretty good for day 1. So,

Vote D'riss

and also for the reasons I gave earlier

I joined here, after Korv had done his detailed case and after I had made some other comments.

I completely missed that Kess wasn't on the train. I could have sworn he was.

I know what you mean, actually. Until I checked up, I thought he was too, but instead, he was voting Telas... I'm kind of wondering what that suggests; it really seems a little like Telas was killed to make Kessobahn look suspicious...

So the reason you joined the train was Korv's case, and also you found D'riss suspicious yourself? Grrr, this train annoys me...

It's depressing that the case on D'riss is the best so far, I want day 1 to end, it's a nightmare.<insert general swearing and bitching> That's mafia for you. WIFOM galore, and it fits with the theme. :p

Beside the case on D'riss, I think the case on Mockra is noteworthy. I so hate day 1 of mafia.

Probably cross post, so I have to read up again.

Players not voted: D'riss, Emurlahn, Hood's Path, Korlat, Liosan, Mockra, Rashan, Tellan

Ok, I think we're starting to run out of time, and I'm a firm believer that we need a lynch.

I'm not too hot on the D'riss case, but I can't see anyone else as an option with this much time left and I won't be on much longer.

@Shadow - okay couple things. First, if you are going to edit quotes it's polite to put something in there denoting you are cutting stuff out. I don't recommend *snip* because someone almost got lynched for it last game, but whatever. Second, if you are going to add multiple quotes there is the plus reply button down on the right, or you can do it ghetto and open two windows and grab "reply" quotes and cut and past them in. Lastly, you can use to add in someone's name. Thanks.

There it is, also the "youre being too obvious" remark. Which makes me think you know who I am.

Had to delete your example so the tags would match.

I do want to take back what I said earlier about your case on D'riss being a circlejerk. I can see how that might have been interpreted as pertaining to only that one case in that one instance. Whereas now I can clearly see your total style is circlejerk so minor correction there. You've definately piqued my interest now so I'm ready to see the CF.

As I said, not great believer in the case, but I do hope we're lucky/Korv's a genius.

Well, his posts got smarter and cleaner (less wishywashy) after I called him on it. That prompted my first comment that he seemed less suspicious, looked less scummy.

Later though, after thinking about it some more, the fact that he cleaned up his posting with no explanation or acknowledgement (even joking) made me think that he was just quietly trying to throw notice off of himself. Basically he went from wishywashy to smooth without batting an eyelash. It's not much, but I felt I should keep my money where my mouth was for the time being.

I genuinely have a tendency to disrespect Korvalain's cases from Day One; like all Day One cases, they seem to be a little full of shit, and I don't see why his one gathered speed, other than it was the only real case at the time.
I will freely admit the reason I voted D'riss was not because I thought he was scum, but because we need a lynch Day One and his was the only likely one, we need to get a train started on an inno to see who joins it and to get a start on the scum, and I'd rather be on a train than off it.

There's something definitely suspicious there! They're being dirty scum by removing their votes so quickly and suspiciously one after the other!

Didn't put that down to the usual "getting srss" of Mafia, once Day One stops being a joke, no?
Hmmm... So what do you suggest today? We haven't seen Shadow yet. Who is setting off alarm bells for you?

Oh, and in terms of Emurlahn's post, it just stood out (and Em noted this fact himself). It stood out, but I wouldn't call it scummy per se.

Of people who are actually actively posting today? Nothing is really setting off alarm bells. And I already said that the lynch train isn't causing anything to stand out either. I was trying to stir things up yesterday (like Korv, but to a lesser extent). But today I'm not so sure of which way to look.

What do you think of Shadow? Part of my thoughts on him is the fact that several different people have looked at him, but generally for different reasons. That's a good reason why I'm suspicious - he seems to be tripping scumdars left and right.

So of those, four didn't like the case and quickly removed when the code came out. Ampelas, Omtose, Kessobahn and Silanah. Meanas and Tellan both kept theirs on. I have no idea what I am getting at here. Still working it out in my head.

I don't like him. I haven't analysed him yet, but I think he's been all over the shop like a bull drunk on vodka. Which is one of the reasons why I am not sold on his guilt; he doesn't seem to have the smarts to be playing the careful killer; also, himself and Meanas were associated two or three times, right? I can't see him killing Meanas... Maybe Telas, but not Meanas.
But his playstyle has been too clumsy, and he started cleaning up when people start getting suspicious, which is in itself suspicious... We've NEVER gotten a killer Day One from suspicious behaviour lol... He just seems to suspicious to be true... He could be a symp, maybe, but I don't think he's a killer.

Liosan is playing on a different timezone to us. I alt-guessed him ages ago; he's not going to be posting that much. Never does.

Well, here's my opinion on it.
I put my vote back on. I am not scum.
Omtose put his back on.
Ampelas also did, iirc.

Kessobahn was the only one who kept his vote off.
Meanas is dead, and inno.
Tellan is, at the moment, more or less above reproach, he's been keeping an eye on proceedings and playing very well indeed.

Tellan above reproach? I don't like the sound of that TBH, and I disagree. Killers can sound smooth and smart, keeping up with the action while making sense and talking details.

more or less above reproach... And that's for the moment. Don't worry, he's not PI in my book, not by a long mile, but he's making sense and paying an awful lot of attention to this thread, not to mention he's posting content. So he is a lower priority for me, at the moment.
