Just saw the finale of Chuck...man, was that an awesome setup for next season. I will be SO, SO ANGRY if they pull the plug. :zanth: :zanth: :zanth:

They've pulled out all the stops in these last couple of episodes, but those Matrix references at the end...*mind blown*

Just wish I lived in the US so I could watch it on NBC or whatever to boost its ratings...

Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

It's excellent entertainment. The basic premise is Computer Geek meets James Bond, and they pull it off with style and humour. I always laugh several times an episode...it's chock full of references and parodies, there's plenty of explosions and gunfights, but they still manage to tell a decent story. I'd highly recommend you watch the first episode if you get the chance - that particular ep doesn't feel like a TV show, it feels like a mini-movie. It was an awesome way to start. But then, any show with a character called Captain Awesome kind of has to be .

I'd highly recommend it, particularly in light of the episode I just saw. But it's a hell of a cliffhanger if they don't give it another Season *plans revenge on NBC, just in case*

Yeah, I saw the season finale tonight too, very very good. I don't think the show is in any danger of being canceled, I think they were just being purposely hush-hush about it because Chuck got the intersect out last week and it seemed like he was going back to regular life, so revealing they were having a 3rd season would indicate to fans pre-emptively that he was going to get back into the spy game (and the obvious answer to that was re-intersect-insertion).

Still, I do worry that his newfound skills will decrease his geek mentality somewhat, (or that they do a bad job trying to have both worlds and keep it pseudo-realistic)...

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

I love Chuck, such a great show. Haven't watched the finale yet, I always watch Chuck Tuesday morning at 11am. So looking forward to my morning tomorrow hehe.

Plus the actress that plays Sarah is smoking hot.

I've heard rumors about cancellation but I don't understand why and I would be very disappointed to see it go.

I think they're just rumors though, the executives refused to say anything about cancellation or renewal, so fans assumed the worst...

NBC has put Jay Leno on 5 nights a week, which vastly reduces the number of primetime hours they've got at their disposal. Assuming they want to put in some fresh shows, they've not got as much space as they used to to accomodate everything. Chuck hasn't been pulling in quite as many viewers as they'd hope on the Monday night (it's up against ridiculously stiff competition, but still...) you can join the dots. We'll just have to see. My fingers are crossed very hard.

Damn, I just finished watching the episode myself...and I have to say, holy fuck! One of the best episodes to date (been following it since about halfway through this season; I watched everything preceding it over a week or so).

Although I saw the new How I Met Your Mother immediately afterward, so it kinda lost. Now that was a hilarious episode.

I think I've seen the first two episodes or so, was very not impressed. The series drowned in all the new stuff that was coming out.

It's really improved over the course of this season. The last 3 episodes of season 2 are VERY good! It's my favorite show! Hilarious and action-packed.

I've only seen a few episodes of it recently(it just came out here in Oz), but it's looking to be a fairly good show. It's funny, has quirky dialogue, good action and a half-decent story. And Captain Awesome is just the greatest name for a character ever.

Hopefully it doesn't get cancelled. I hate it when I get unresolved storylines.

The current season 2 finale functions as a series finale, but the idea of a season 3 is still damn exciting.

They are the only 3 episodes I haven't watched yet.

But seeing Chevy Chase, don't you think that Zachary Levi would be good as a younger Fletch?

Adam Baldwin is perfect as the heavy.

I'm watching the last 3 episodes on NBC.com

Very convenient.

I knew it would end up that way. Great ending.

Hope Chuck returns
