Finally finished a 7 page read, a few thoughts...
The whole fiasco or suicidal tendencies Gem seemed to have are really weird. First thought that came to my mind is that she was a pissed off symp that didn't get killing abilities when her master died as another symp got them.
Ano claims to have guarded D'riss, does that not make him a little lower on the list? I really don't suspect there are 2 killers so that should be taken into consideration. I also believe Ano claimed to have a partner which might mean that the partner didn't send in the provisional.
As for today's lynch, I am happy with D'riss though I might look into Emur.

Oh, with the guard there is also a possibility of paired killers so it wouldn't make a difference.

THe way it picked up over the past 24-36 hours or so I thought we'd keep the ball rolling today. That's why I voted early. However, here we are several hours later with nothing much going on.

Fener and Meanas gone means a less feisty thread, apparently.

after the failure to act on night 1 my partner and i came to a consensus that the last inputted action was the one used and bent agreed. We had our action in last night and agreed before hand on driss. shadow was also guarded the night before and fener on night 2. Fener is obviously dead, but we cant remove anyone from the suspect list just yet.

@ Shadow: (Quick post before I have to get back to work): while interesting, I think Ampelas himself didn't pursue this any further so far?
I can see this little quote as a useful addendum to a case on Serc as Mockra's symp, but on it's own, I personally think it's far too farfetched to vote Serc just based on this. Would need that case first. You might want to take care that you're not starting to cross the border between minor but useful details and quotes for the quoting - this could be either of each.

@ Korlat: you'd be the third modkill, that would almost break the game all by itself. If you can, hang in there.

I've gotta go to sleep soon and I'll lay down a vote before I leave. I was waiting to see the continuation of Omtose's case, kinda cliff-hangered us there. I want to see Tellan's reaction to the possible slip before I push that case. I'm not a fan of Korlat's "Day 5 I'm going to ask for a modkill soon". I'm not trying to be mean, but it's one of those things you just do or don't do in PM's. Putting it into the game makes it grab focus because now we have to figure out if we are being played or not.

Back again. I see my name cropping up every now and again in conjunction with Meanas WIFOM and now the comment I made on Day one has been brought like. I think I replied to it at the time, but in case I didnt - I saw Apt reading the thread and commented on it, I only realised when Amp brought it up the the wording I had used was slightly suspicious in this specific context.

I dont want this to come across as an overreaction, rather as a preemptive defense - I dont want my positition in the suspect list to slowly rise because of Gem's comment. The way I see it she was definitely a symp and that comment was aimed to try take an inno down with her, but I can only be sure of that because I know I'm inno and no other explanation makes sense with that in mind. I'm under more suspicion now than I was before Gem exploded, even with the fact that I had pushed a lynch on someone who eventually CF'd inno.

I just signed in for the day today, give me a bit of time people and I'll get it done. I am at work so will do my best. As I said before you guys are alos free to continue looking at D'riss' behaviour from the point where I left off and add your own thoughts. There's no need to rely solely on me to come up with something. I'll try to have a bit more up in a while. We should also continue to look at other people so we have some other options or possibly something else in development should D'riss go. We don't want to be stuck sitting around with nothing to go on.

Poor guy, he was looking forward to this game for so long, then gets modkill with zero posts cos it happened to start on a long weekend...

And thanks - I know I'm not at the moment, but if the killer decides to keep me alive, all of this stuff is gonna keep cropping up over and over till I look like a really good lynch late game. There wont be anything I can say in my defense then, so I'm trying to make sure it doesnt happen. Continuing on the next bit that bothered me about D'riss is not something that D'riss himself has done directly it was actually Meanas. I've already drawn a few connections between D'riss and Meanas and while they might not be the strongest they still need to be considered because as I say we should be looking at who Meanas was symping for. If we have paired killers the night action of D'riss would still have gone through despite Ano's block. What really came up on my radar was Meanas' weird rection to Shadow pointing out the possible signaling or coding between Mockra and Driss at the beginning of the game. Shadow had put the idea forth again and it was picking up steam. If you remember all of a sudden Meanas went off the reails calling shadow and idiot and voting him but not explaining why, stating it was obvious. Well it wasn't actually obvious to anyone but Meanas, who kept saying figure it out and dropping obscure hints. Then Meanas finally says Shadow could have outed paired inno's developing a code. None of us thought this was even likely or made any sense, despite that Meanas was at great pains to push the theory. By not explaining his anger fully in the first place and refusing to answer Shadow dierctly he was leaving things open for us to imagine all sorts of theories and I believe was hoping someone would hit on it first so he didn't look too scummy for coming up with the weird accusation himself. I just think it's really odd that he would do a completel turn around on the Mockra D'riss symp thing like that. He could have just said he didn't buy it, but instead when completely off rail and tries to make them into paired inno's who were developing a code. I think it's possible Meanas was symping D'riss. Think about it had that worked and we not argued the crazy theory we could have all turned on Shadow, lynched him and D'riss would have been looking like a poor innocent who had been outed. It would have eliminated the heat and suspicion on him that he'd been dealing with on day one. I think there is real merit to Ano's theory that we have paired killers and D'riss could definitely be one of them. I think Meanas was possibly symping D'riss and if not then I don't have any other likely candidates for who he would have been sympin at the moment. It might also explain his sudden suicide mission, we were looking at the Mockra circle anyways and D'riss has been under pressure for a while. By suddenly saying he was a scum encouraging us to lynch him and naming Serc as his partner perhaps he was hoping we would go straight for Serc and leave D'riss alone. Again this is just a theory, it's based partially on the behaviour of Meanas, D'riss voting not long after Menas three times, and D'riss defending Meanas a few times. I could be way off here but it's something to start with at least, so discuss it and I will continue to look at D'riss.
