heh
too early to apply the odd-even rule, but I wouldn't be shocked if we time out without a lynch today.

Not a lot of time left, and, as others comment, nothing stands out. Galain or Korlat are both at one post each, so for now:
Vote Korlat.
Mostly because Galain just popped up and may provide some good comments.
I'll be back in an hour or two, but a 24 hour day, weekend kicking in and this being day 1, I think the final stages will be frantic.

Up to page six, so far a LOT of spam. Shame I missed it, actually.
Of course, the random as shit case by Fener means things should be getting interesting soon...I hope.

Very clever Gamelon, but if you read it, the double negative actually says I don't know nothing about no recipe. Which means I know something about no recipe. Ergo, it's a triple negative and means that there's actually nothing to talk about.
EDIT: Added code tags for empahsising.

I'll admit I role-play badly. But, who in their right mind actually talks like this: "For serious, bar still open?"
I'm glad you don't think you're in your right mind. Killers are often insane.

Secondly, why would I vote when all we had were "drunken posts" with people attempting to be funny?
The question is, why wouldn't you? What are you trying to not give away?
Killers? I thought we were looking for a spy?

*please note, the above was a joke, as the role list quite clearly indicates killers

ZOMG! a quintuple-post!
Grief? is that you?

in other news, it's hard to stay awake at 4:30 AM after many solid hours of cramming.
I give myself another 4 hours b4 passing out.

Yeah... aggression is all ok, but I prefer a decent case to go with it.
Question for you both.
How do we get to the point where decent cases are made?
We get to that point by assessing reactions and relations between players.
See, I'm happy with the first case you made, that kicked the game into motion.
It is when this starts happening that my hackles rise:
Fener, on Apr 24 2009, 01:00 PM, said:
You did the same with Tellan, calling him Mockra's partner in crime or something. Lumping people together because you do not like their initial reaction is not applying pressure or searching for links between players, it is not allowing people to disagree, or stating that because they disagree, they must be scum.
Imho, with the way you went straight for their throat, you skipped the phase that's called reflection and passed from aggression into the previously mentioned realm of bloodthirst.
I agree, he did start spouting accusations and strawmanned a little. Although TBH Meanas seems pretty worked up about the vote on Mockra, seems like a bit of an overreaction to me.
Now, not to be defending anyone here, but you do have to consider that some people may be paired RI - and that would also account for the reaction if the player was a n00b. Something to consider, as always.

if they are paired, than by definition thay aren't roleless,
and Day 1's not a great time to call attention to being paired.

Alright, impressions so far:
The huge number of people voting for random other people, making a whole bunch of 1-voters on our updates, means nothing is worth anything so far. It's all rubbish, clearly just from that, and a read up doesn't make me think any better of it.
Fener does seem to be pushing hard. This post, just seems very...aggresive to me. I admit, I think it's good that the spam is mostly over. Let's face it, it was getting ridiculous. However, it does strike me as strange that Fener is pushing so hard, on day one. That's just...it IS just a game, you know? Serious business though it may be.
The only thing that would strike me as suspicous about Fener, here, is that the spam was a few posts too much...so he could have been scum just picking the right time to get serious, thus making himself seem inno.
But I don't like the idea pushing a train on Fener. Mainly due to the fact that the first person to do this sort of thing is usually an inno, making a 'case' on an inno. So I'm naturally averse to lynching the person that does this. *shrug*

Tellan, this is the problem with "roleless innocent" and "roled innocent" - BOTH have the acronym RI, yes?
I was talking about the latter, in any case.
And, I did say, if one was a n00b, then they might make the mistake of getting overly upset. Big IF, of course.

I kinda got the impression Fener was going to push real hard then coast the weekend, not sure why, just seemed too aggressive. Guess we can see on that one. Anyone not checked in yet? I could put a vote on someone not here easily.

The other person I'm about to look at is Emurlahn...he made what seems to be about three posts...then disappeared...one of them was something like "I can't be bothered to make a case right now"...which is just pathetic, really. Worse than someone who hasn't showed up or is a low-posting spammer, in my opinion.

Right. Here are the sum total of Meanas's posts.
First six are just spam, he also starts to get bored with it though.
Right after Fener makes his case Meanas votes for him. Comes across a little joke-votey at the time.
Then Fener accuses him of being Mockra's partner and he jokes around a little more.
Still joking around
Two posts one after the other, both seem to be trying to subtely get some support for a Fener lynch.
It was not a joke vote. My scum radar was beeping like crazy. As it is now. Come on and vote for me, you know you want to.

Not much to add to any of the 'cases', other than Meanas' immediate Fener vote caught my eye. I sounds like it could be a joke vote but then he comes back all serious about it in the next posts. "We don't need no stinking cases! Lynch the serious one!"
Don't feel like I"m convinced enough to vote for anyone though.
