Win, in it's purest form.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

X-men three kicked military plastic A$$! literaly, plot wise it was a jumble of good and bad. watched advent children in "english" and I have to say you can feel the movie improve as you watch it in a language you understand.

Tranformers movie? just one look at optimus go from truck to robot in 30 flat was all it took. very much Win.

Saw X3 yesterday. Unimpressive.

Several gorgeous women in the film saved it.

But even so Jean Grey was not good looking (even when not the Phoenix...)

Rebecca Romijn lying nude in that prison car made me a happy, happy camper.

I'd have hated to sit next to you during the movie - hey, I asked for plain popcorn, this is covered in butter! :)

Anywho, I saw X3 this past weekend. Because I went in with low expectations thanks to y'all (I live in Texas so I can use that :) ), I wasn't so disappointed in the movie. There was just one Big Dumb Moment I couldn't forgive:

Spoiler

OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

You said it. Kate Bosworth is a total waste as Lois Lane. I was very disappointed.

This may deserve a thread of its own because it is off the scale in unintentional hilarity. I'll post the link here (which first appeared on ASOIAF) and if someone wants to start a new thread be my guest. Just boost my reputation if you laugh as hard as I did.

err why is that hilarious? i know the acting isn;t that good and it seems ot be a lotr knockoff( but be truthful, what otehr epic battle scene wouldn;t be a lotr knockoff)
although the costumes is remarkably similar to lotr, and the actor isn;t that great... it still looks like a good movie to watch though

unless i am missing something ?

I saw the preview from the Transformers movie (link in my last post in this thread) and it looks absolutely awesome. Then it ended, and revealed the director was Michael Bay.

I think I threw up a little, in my soul. I'm going to cry myself to sleep.

It's still the Transformers, so you'll go see it anyways. :)
