I think people were more tempted to swarm the guy who was in charge of the volume, since it was turned up to eleven (it's the painful part of going to mall cinema). Oh and the guy who decided it should be 3D. In all honesty we shut up once the movie really got going - about when Hades decided to curb stomp some mortals.

It's kind of funny how Hades is always portrayed as the bad guy by Hollywood. Really, if there was a bad guy among the greek gods it would be Poseidon.

Talking about films, my favorite (TV) movie version of Hercules was the one from Jason and the Argonauts (2000 version) with Brian Thompson playing Hercules (Bounty hunter alien from X-files, knife guy from Cobra). He has this death scene where he's taken a handful of arrows to the Torso, but continues to kick the every loving crap out of the soldiers hunting them. He makes a last stand as the others make a run for it.

Clash of the titans is one stupid ass movie.
The whole final battle with Hades and the Kraken took like half a minute. They spent more time filming the group walking around random landscape than they did the finale.
Also, they obviously have no grasp, no grasp at all, of Greek geography.

I remember that movie. I believe it was the first movie based on greek mythology I saw. Me being a great lover of mythology, I was so infuriated at the mistakes they had made, that I left the living room shouting "I'm outraged!"(much to my parents' amusement)

In fairness, the geography of the mythology is fairly open to interpretation... the rest of it was crap, I agree.

Watched BRONSON last night.
Great "balls to the walls" movie, what a hectic guy this Chalres Bronson is/was!
And Tom hardy should have been at least nominated for an Oscar FFS!!!

I must say I'm guilty. Couldn't stop making jokes at The Two Towers and Return of the King - these films were just so hillarious!
I don't go to the cinema often. I like commenting films too much. I prefer watching them alone.

My favourite "almost epic" moment: Cerberos. Every single ridiculous moment of him.
That Clash of the Titans is a remake of an earlier movie HORRIFIES me.
I enjoyed watching hades do the shuffle though, and the medusa was disturbingly
hot.

Watched Iron Man 2 tonight. It was pretty good but still a bit of a let down. Don't want to spoil it for anyone but the ending was a bit meh... Johansson was hot as fuck though
