I watched Clerks 2 last night.

Bad film. Terrible, even. That's really all there is to say about it...

Does anybody else have to shout at the tv whenever theres a trailer or ad for Ice Age 3 - The Rise of the Dinosaurs?

THE DINOSAURS DID NOT FOLLOW THE ICE AGE!!

No wonder kids grow up with no idea about anything prior to the 2nd World war.

So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

He is just mad because the Kinky Kelly and the Sexy Stud scene is too close to real life for him. It became uncomfortable.

Don't they fall into a cave where a surprisingly non-representative sampling of dinosaur species have survived?

Technically, the dinosaurs' rise would then have preceded the Ice Age, as is historically correct.

I saw Chocolate last night. It's... not as good as Ong Bak. There are some nicely choreographed moments, but the main character isn't as transcendent an athlete as Tony Jaa is and the story is fetid goat balls bad at times. I would rather see Universal Soldier three more times than one more viewing of Chocolate.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Well. I haven't actually watched it, I just shout at it.

INCORRECT! Let me guess, you're in the "it's not Clerks 1 so it sucks" crowd.

I liked Chocolate. purely for the "holy f***! that stuntman should be DEAD!" moments.

also This Trailer looks tremendous. How can you not want to see a film called Bitch Slap?
meh. Link was dead :(

Not really. I enjoyed Clerks 1 more, but I just didn't particularly like 2. Don't get me wrong, there were funny bits (the whole LotR vs Star Wars conversation), but overall it just didn't convince. Maybe I was missing something.

Has anyone seen Gamer or Surrogate yet? I am curious as to what the verdict is as they appear interesting but have the potential to be drivel.

Drivel. pure and unadulterated. Weren't even worth the half hour to download, let alone watch or god forbid pay 15$ to see.

clerks 2 was awesome, rosario dawson was just jaw dropping in it. while jay and silent bob, the donkey, randall and pussy troll made it pure cinema goodness. 1 was certainly a great flick, but for laughs, i think 2 surpassed it.

I shall have to be happy to live in the minority here then :o

On an almost unrelated note, I watched Return of the Jedi last night. Hot damn that's an awesome film :p

I agree with the Return of the Jedi comment! :o

I saw Angels and Demons the other day. Considering I was expecting to be a steaming big pile of manure like the Da Vinci code, I was vaguely pleasantly surprised to find that it was marginally more enjoyable... Not going to read it though...

The book is also marginally more enjoyable than the other book, go figure. If you read it, you'll have a far, far greater appreciation for any other writing ever. Even what your kids will scrawl in crayon on your freshly painted walls when they're two.

I just watched North by Northwest. Fantabulous movie, no other way to explain it.
