Once Upon a Time in America is an awesome movie! Probably Sergio Leone's masterpiece

I've heard it said that the 4 hour version is one of the best movies of the 80's, the cut down 2.5 hour version is supposedly one of the worst. I'm surprised it's not more qwell known than it is. Good stuff. Deniro and James Woods as gangsters? What's not to like?

I don't think I've ever watched that film.

How ever The Good, The Bad and The Ugly remains my favorite film of all time (besides Sex and the City the Movie)

Isn't the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly the alternate title for the Sex in the city movie?

According to that site, she's recently had her mole/growth/second head/whatever-the-hell-that-thing-on-her-chin-is removed. I suspect all her power over Apt will be gone soon...
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Saw District 9 on Friday.

It's been a while since I've heard a pure saffer accent undiluted by living in England. HA! Can't believe I forgot the level of ridiculousness of the accent. Fock! Hehe. Pissed myself through half the film.

Accents aside, very good film.

The four hour version is indeed very good. However, Once Upon a Time in the West is a better, tighter movie. I consider that to be Leone's best (I've seen 6 of his 10 movies - all the big ones).

Go see I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell. It's flat out hilarious and has a subtly good story to it too. I liked it way more than The Hangover.

Is that the specific Joburg accent? My mate's from Cape Town - he has no accent anymore, but his dad, a proper Boer, has a ridiculous one and doesn't say "fock." Or is it just living in England?

Saw Eastern Promises yesterday night. An interesting film with lots of information on the Russian mafia. Besides the scene in the public baths was a great fighting scene, maybe the best I saw recently.
