I call retcon bullshit. As I said, I haven't read many comics, but even I know this isn't how it used to be. It may be how it is now, but not back in the day.

It's not true, he doesn't have a forcefield, just very very strong body. Like steel, but more awesome.
He can be hurt, but he heals excessivly fast.

Well a forcefield would make more sense than Superman simply being indestructible.

It would, but it's not how it is. Or originally was, anyways.

As mentioned earlier though, Superman is superlame, so I won't lose any sleep over it.

Just saw Get Smart.

Enjoyed it thoroughly. The 'twist' was see-able about halfway through, but didn't detract at all from the movie, and the Ending was all kinds of awesome.

I will call you Nancy, and you Maureen.

Oh yes. Oh Oh Yes.

That's promising. I'd read some bad reviews of it. Worth paying to see in the theater, or wait for DVD?

I paid for it and was happy with the experience.

Whats-her-face is so hot. I am so happy I saw her topless in that movie.

Anyway,
It was great when the president peed on the bomb and defused it because max accidentally gave him some laxatives, and the fact that the vice president ended up being the real head of control was hilarious.

I just saw Semi Pro, and that just confirmed that Will Ferrell is getting progressively worse with each movie. There were a few laugh out loud moments, but Anchorman this was not...

Agreed. Anchorman was awesome, all other movies where he is the lead range from bad to meh. He's still awesome as a supporting actor/cameo appearance, and should stick to that. Or make Anchorman 2.

He made Anchorman 2, but it was an STD.

That's Straight To DVD, in case anyone was wondering.

I think the movie you're referring to was not actually a sequel, they just had so much leftover material from the first one that they threw it all together as a second movie.

There's been some talk of an Anchorman 2... but nothing is in the works.

We can only keep our fingers crossed, I guess. I hope at the very least he's done with sports movies.

If you take notice, Will Ferrell was more of a secondary character even though he headlined. Woody had more of a part.

And I don't think the film was bad because Ferrells getting old, I think the script was just bad.

Yeesh, I hope they don't make a sequel to Anchorman, it would almost certainly be a huge pile of fail.

From the trailers, it looks like Get Smart is basically an American version of Johnny English

You're probably right on both counts. This is kind of a crappy summer for movies. Nothing coming out that makes me excited to go see it.

I saw quite a few good adverts before Indy4 that made me want to go and see the films... Prince Caspian, Wall.E, Hancock etc... there were more, but I can't remember them

Don't bother with Prince Caspian, I watched it on a streaming site a while ago, and it was just like the first one. Bunch of kids and hairy beasties running about in the forest for one and a half hour playing soldier before the author deus ex machinas the story and everything is wrapped up in a nice little bow.
