I saw Equilibrium for the first time this week - really enjoyed it and a very cool idea.

I saw The Assassination of Richard Nixon at the weekend. Pretty good. Sean Penn is great (as usual).

Watched Downfall on Saturday night.

Excellent film. Not always particularly pleasant to watch but compelling none the less.

Downfall was a wonderful film, even if it dragged on a bit and got quite boring at parts...
I finally saw Serenity last night, and it was everything I hoped for! The captain was a very cool younger version of Han Solo, and I liked the fact that there was no aliens or anything... The girl who played River was excellent.
Finally saw an advert for Doom... it looks so bad, you know it is gonna be amazing!

anyone seen "Night Watch" or "Doom" yet? gonna go see NW tomorrow, and Doom next weekend. both are VERY promising :D

I saw Domino.

Awww, the Art of Trash. The plot was so convoluted im pretty sure the actors themselves didnt really follow it but then it was so fast paced you didnt really have time to get confused. There was hardly a normal shot in the whole movie. The characters and dialogue were all over the top.

Now i dont know if all thats intentional (and with richard kelly writing the script it very well might have been) and if it was then its an awesome movie.

If it wasnt it was the worst movie of the year.

Either way, i loved it.

And i want a goldfish tattoo!

saw serenity - good stuff, i liked it and is it just me or is that river girl hot? well i do always go for the mentaly deranged one....

saw goal! (not sure why the exclamation mark) and in spite of myself i have to say it was ok. the 'S' word was said once or twice but they put that right by the end..... and everyone loves newcastle

want to see nightwatch but the people in the queue behind me today were sayin it was poor poor poor so i'll let someone here enlighten me first... :D
