Christian Bale's weight loss was (in my opinion) the most radical (natural) physical alteration for a role in a film.

I was forced to watch Mutant Girl Squad. I can't decide if it was just a really really bad movie, or so bad that it was actually funny.

It was talking-head-in-a-birthdaycake weird...

Weirdly I remember this. I could never remember what it was called but I thought it was TV show and in one of the episodes he actually makes a skin thatll last but loses his research. He then gives the perfect synthetic skin to a hurt child or something. Not sure if its the same as this one but I remember him being scarred, working on synthetic skin and having some sort of pain adapter in his neck removed.

EDIT- AHA! I watched the third direct to video sequel of this with the guy who played the Mummy in errr the Mummy

Watched Real Steel last night and thankfully I got it from redbox so the $1.30 I spent on it wasn't too bad. Knew it wasn't great movie going in and it was enjoyable in a cheesy bad-movie way. I felt like I was watching Over the Top but with robots instead of arm-wrestling but the father-son story was almost exactly the same. Good for some cheesy movie time provided you lower your IQ and enjoy the popcorn.

Finally got a chance to see Moneyball. That was a good movie, and I'm not really a fan of sports movies. Well done, really.

I only watched it because I know the guy who plays young Brad Pitt, but it was definitely worth it.

Got a chance to skip out and see HUGO yesterday. Absolutely wonderful film, and deserving of every accolade it has garnered (including the 11 Oscar nominations), it is a love letter to Paris, Books, and most of all Film itself. It is lovingly crafted and beautifully directed. Loved every moment of it.

I saw both Hugo and Moneyball in the past couple of weeks and really enjoyed both of them- excellent films with great stories as well as superb acting. The Hugo soundtrack is also fantastic.

We took the kids to see the 3D re-release of Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

Probably the best Disney fairy tale movie. The 3D didn't add anything to the experience, but that was the motivation for re-releasing. I guess that's Hollywood's new cash cow - I bet it's profitable as hell.

OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

I can't believe some people thought they got marginally better. They truly got worse and worse, with the end of Episode III being like an F-minus-minus-minus.
