zanth, fuck twighlight, fucking bullshit plot and bullshit story through the eyes of a fucking spoiled teen girl, the only cool part was the baseball scene...

That, and the fight scene at the end. That was cool.

But seriously fuck the baseball scene.

Vampires are bloodsucking fiends who feast upon the living and spend their days hiding in dungeons and having lots of weird vampire sex stuck to the ceiling... SO WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY PLAYING BASEBALL!!?

ITS FUCKING VAMPIRES... PLAYING BASEBALL!!! OOHH, LOOK AT US! WE ARE ALL SUPERNATURAL AND PALE. WE ARE SCARY AND BROODING. BUT WE ALSO LIKE TO ENJOY WHOLESOME ALL AMERICAN TRADITIONS LIKE PLAYING BASEBALL BECAUSE IT IS SO FUN TO PLAY TOGETHER UNDER THE MOTHERFUCKING SUN!

If there really was a god, a big fucking bolt of lightning had blown the emo flesh straight off their gay bones right then and there.

And don't get me started on that slut of a teenage female protagonist. Whhhhhhhhooooooorrrrerrrrrrreeeeeeeeee!!!

True, Apt true... stupid character, oh i dont care about the fact that your old enough to be my great great frandfather and that you have killed people before, I think its romantic because Im a 17 year old twit...

I love you even though Ive only known you for 2 days, blah blah blah,,,

even the fight scene kind of blah it was to short...

they hinted at werewolves, I hope they are greated better then the vamps, I hope the indian kid eats edward...Not that I will ever know, because I will never watch the sequal or read the books after that movie

Doubt was another movie I watched (I dont thnink I brought it up before) but it was really well acted... Phillip Seymore Hoffman and Meryl streep I believe...

I just watched Crank 2, and ... that was the most insane shit ever. But totally fun, because I was fore-warned that it was insane.

But, seriously, it was totally fucked up. I can't overstate how utterly batshit crazy this movie is.
I finally have an avatar ... and it's better than yours.

I've been meaning to, but my internet connection is crap and my DVD player is dead.

I should have gone to the cinema when it came out :(

its awesome :(

saw far cry the other day, a uwe boll special. I will give him this though, it had a few good lines in it. That it was hamfisted, made little or no sense and was woefully predictable is beside the point, i would give it 3/10 which for uwe boll is fucking immense!!!

Ooohh Far Cry is finished? I thought it was only still in preproduction?

What was the film about? Did they stick to the games story? Machoman washes up on island filled with mercenaries and a secret laboratory, and he has to go save the client/girl?

How much of a story could you possibly get out of that game.

I'm definitely gonna see that one.

Also, 30 Days of Night is an awesome vampire movie.

I've just watched Flight 666. Those guys really impress me. I mean, they have their own fucking plane, and the lead singer is the pilot. How AWESOME is that? And they're all about the music...fantastic!

Another example of a shit vampire movie. I made about half way into it before I gave up, it was just too stupid. I decided to zoom forward to the ending and was, of course, not surprised at all.

The film doesn't make any sense at all. This big group of vampires come to this endless night area and instead of preserving their prey they just strike in force and rip everyones throats out, they kill like 95% of the people and then spend the next 29 days doing fuck all (at least that's my guess).

It is not logical that a whole team of vampires are not able to find the survivors in the course of a mere days.

Also I hate Josh Hartnett.

I assumed they were having giant orgies. But I liked the look of it, and I'm also a huge fan of Ben Foster so I might have been biased :D

They had been on that boat for ages, probably, and were really fucking hungry. Try controlling yourself when you haven't eaten for days and weeks. And they have to find everyone and kill them so they can't go to the next town and warn them about the vampires, who are planning to hit town after town. After having eaten 95% percent of the people in Barrow they are full, and have time to enjoy their meal...or play with it. Duh!

It makes perfect sense to me!

Vicky Cristina Barcelona is one of the better movies I've ever watched. It's visually beautiful, the story is tight and the acting is top-notch all around.

Look past the kink and see the underlying messages of the difficulty of achieving true honesty, finding passion in life and keeping the courage to do what you really want. The ending is fitting and affected me powerfully. It really did deserve all that critical praise and awards.

Plus the women in it are reedamndiculously hot.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I just finished watching Burn After Reading. Is it just me, or does that movie's plot makes absolutely no sense? Also it kind of just...ended. It didn't have a very satisfying resolution, I thought. Not a great effort by the Coen brothers this time.

Also watched Into the Wild and The Warriors the other day. I loved the first one. Very well done, and Emile Hirsch did a great job portraying Christopher Johnson McCandless. I found it very deep and philosophical too, and enjoyed the exploration of the nature of happiness and the strictures of society. I liked The Warriors, it was a fun movie to watch. It was a shock seeing James Remar in it, but then again he's getting on in years. All in all, I prefer the game though.

I had a weird feeling after watching it as well. I think it's the fact that the series is getting so serious after having been pretty goofy for a decade or two. I mean the ploy is

that's not very exciting or sexy at all.

But I love Daniel Craigs bond, now they just need to give us a film that is not all about Bond running around getting revenge. I want ridiculous over the top super villains and giant secret HQs built inside Volcanoes.

I had the same feeling. Just a very, very strange film. Not at all as good as I was expecting when I watched the trailer.

I watched the Warriors for the first time a couple of months ago. I loved it, for a film that is some... what, 35-40 years old? It still kicks ass. The film is raw. The dialogue is cool, the setting of the 70s New York is captivating and the characters are interesting. I loved the ending.

I'm in agreement with you about the Bond films, Apt. I mean, the cheesiness was what made the films awesome, along with great action scenes, of course. Bond throwing out hilarious one-liners and terrible puns, genius over-the-top ridiculous villains like Dr. No and Goldfinger, the ridiculous secret lairs and evil plans, hilarious names like Pussy Galore, Honey Rider and Octopussy, the sexual tension between Bond and Moneypenny...and Q and his gadgets, of course. All that is missing from the later Bond films. I mean, our main villain in Casino Royale is an accountant whose eyes bleed, and the premise of the movie is
Spoiler
WTF? The last truly good Bond film I believe is Goldeneye, because Bond is just a total badass in it, Q is in it, and Boris is always hilarious.

Like you said, there's none of the tongue-in-cheek flair that made a Bond movie a Bond movie. Nowadays it's just stupid, unexciting plots like Casino Royale, Die Another Day and Quantum of Solace, the women aren't all that exciting and Bond has become so serious that he's not even Bond anymore. It's also more dominated by SFX, which is the only reason I watch them anymore, so I can see what ridiculous stunts Bond can pull off now. The parkour scene at the start of Casino Royale was cool, though.

I liked Pitt in Burn After Reading. He provided some much needed comic relief, with his random dancing and just general stupid demeanor.

Don't get me wrong, I liked both Cassino Royal and Quantum of Solace, I thought Casino Royal was pretty much a perfect Bond film, it both reinvented Bond and gave us the origin of his character. Quantum was more or less necissary to give us closure on the open ending of Casino.

I like this gritty, no nonsense bond, it is a more believable character. I just want this angle mixed in with some more extraordinary plots.

But suspect that the next film will again revolve around this secret organisation we hear about. It's a modern revamp of SPECTRE.

strangely i didnt like either, the first had a protracted ending which really did nothing for the movie, and no matter how many camera angles you take extended footage of poker just isnt that interesting, especially when you know whats going to happen! As for qos, well it just didnt have any recognisable bond goings on in it. it was more like bond tries to be jason bourne without the motivation. it lacked the sexiness and stupidity of bond movies but was just dull and depressing with the most weedy baddy in the history of bond movies.

Agree 100%. The revenge arc was boring.
