Arthur couldn't be worse than Excalibur. Eventually someone has to tell the Arthur tale right. On the other hand, the Merlin miniseries was a guilty pleasure.

The same goes for Robin Hood. I have seen the Errol Flynn version, the Disney version, and the Morgan Freeman/Kevin Costner version and none feel quite right.

just been to see RRRrrrr!, and it was quite good Posted Image. not mastery, but nevertheless as good as Shrek 2. I recommend it. but don't expect something absolutely flattering - it's the kind of film you take girls to Posted Image

I watched "Field of Dreams" again today. Truly one of my favourite films. It's such a beautfiul, almost lyrical in a sense, movie. Just a all time classic for me.

no...but after hearing it was worse than Matrix 2 I have absolutely 0 motivation to watch it. Or even consider watching it actually. like 100% times 0 motivation to even consider caring about considering watching it.

I went to Village expecting it to be a fantasy movie and ... well, you know.

Just watched Gangs of New York last night, nothing like I was expecting as I didn't really know what to expect as I thought it was about gangsters, not particulary a good film, I'd watch it if there was nothing else on but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again.

I thought Hero was a little bit too artistic. especially when the fended off all those arrows. didn't quite have the same impression on me as crouching tiger did (which just blew me away). but other than that, it was really a beautifully done movie.

can you say that? beautifully done..? sounds funky. therefor I shall use it! arumph!

DD Personally i would recomend Yes Minister, but it is very very British so if your not a fan our very dry humour probably not to good for you, of course there is always the wonderful fawlty towers Posted Image

Seen Spiderman 2 and King Arthur recently, first was ok, not as good as the second but still a good flick. King arthur was great imo, loved all the English accents as well Posted Image

Scary movie is one of the very few films i actually couldnt finish. It just seemed a huge waste of time after a while.

I saw good will hunting a few days ago, and I must say, that movie just keeps on baffling me with its sheer quality. even poo poo affleck manages to do his part to a satisfaction (never push this mans abilities beyond the side kick role).

then I saw one hour photo also a few days ago, and it strikes me that robin williams isn't all that bad. the guy can actually act despite all those sad childrens movies he's done.

Saw a coupla movies in the past few days...

Super-Size Me- Brilliant, frightening, and hilarious documentary. Everybody should see this one. 9/10
The Stepford Wives(2004)- Some extremely funny one-liners and other clever bits, but very predictable and inconsistant. 7/10
Shrek 2- Much as I enjoyed some of the hidden gags (plus the giant gingerbread and puss-in-boots), it was more of the same, and I disliked the original to boot. 6/10
Last Exile Vol.1- Brilliant, visually stunning anime! It has such great emotional depth to go with the great action stuff. 9.5/10
City of God- My God, this flick is a modern classic. Amazing directing, superb acting, engrossing storyline, almost Tarantino-esque narrative structure... help, I'm in love... 10/10

Why would you wanna see - let alone own - really bad movies?

Saw "all the president's men" this weekdn for the first time. It has the reputation of a classic and it sure is! Only the ending was a little... abrupt.

There is a third Riddick movie out for rent called Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury. It is an animated feature directed by Peter Chung who was involved with Aeon Flux and Reign the Conquerer...
