Watched "In Bruges" last night
Probably one of the better stories/movies I have seen in a long time,
Just a really really really good film. I would say its an outstanding Comic tragedy, reminds me of the kind of story SE would write.
If you havent watched it you should.

Definitely. The most unexpectedly enjoyable film I've seen all year.
On the other hand, I went to see the X-Files movie. It was a spontaneous decision. Do I regret it!! It's really shit. The mystery is quite good. Billy Connelly plays a paedo priest which is a bit ironic due to his family history. The chemistry between Mulder and Scully is really contrived and forced though. It might as well just be a normal tv episode. I'm sure none of you are foolish enough to consider wasting your money! But just in case, don't do it.

Saw darjelling limited the other day. It has the same "what the hell is he trying to do here" feel as his other movies. It was...weird.

I watched Iron Man. It was good. Entertaining, certainly. However, it wasn't as awesome as I was hoping it would be; it was fun, but a bit predictable and kind of cheesy at times.

The Mutant Chronicles.
I don't care what anyone says, this movie ruled. I cannot wait to buy it on blu-ray and watch it on my big screen tv.
The acting was very b grade, but it was obviously what they were going for. And it was so over the top ... I loved every bit of it.

just saw this one... and I can't say a bad word about it. Caine and Law are awesome, the story is interesting and sometimes even surprising, both characters are sharp and the dialogue is suitably witty... awesomeness in a package

Don't bother with "The Bank Job," that new over-slick Jason Statham (sp.?) movie. They put all the correct Modern Bank Heist Thriller pieces in, which makes for a completely generic turd of a movie, where everyone's acting like they just showed up to collect a paycheck. It's not entertaining brainless fluff ... it's just fluff.

just a quick good or bad on a bunch of stuff i saw recently
be kind rewind - sweded - enjoyable
chaos theory - distracting accents aside worth a watch witht he other half
hellboy 2 - plodding but very good, luke goss is surprisingly good baddie in another del toro movie.
jumper - jump out window instead
outpost - holy fuck that shits awesome
outlaw - dulll and bleak with no payoff
frontiers - sick french drivel
mummy 3 - two hours of my life ruined
wall-e highly enjoyable
vantage point - too many coincidences
wanted- drivel
the king of kong - very funny
speed racer - good looking drivel, use fast forward helps a lot.
forbidden kingdom - generic but fun
the invisible - predictable, but entertaining
orphanage - excellent

Saw the Watchmen trailor when a finally got to see The Dark Knight on an IMAX screen... It's very pretty but there's a hell of a lot more going on in the book than just the visuals and shit blowing up. I suspect they've made a trailer that will appeal to a certain kind of audience who, if the filmmakers have actually done a good job of adapting the book, are going to be really bored and really, really confused when they get to see the movie...

Yeah, it wasnt very impressive was it?
I was kind of bored through out, could have used more action, allegedly it was based on real events, but that doesnt make it more exciting

Just watched The Interpreter w/ Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn. I must have missed this when it came out, because I'd never heard of it before. It was pretty good...it kept my attention for two hours, which is pretty hard to do these days.
I've fallen asleep trying to watch The Bank Job on two separate occasions...

Also watched Leatherheads w/ Clooney, Zellwegger, and the dude that plays Jim on the US version of The Office. It was pretty good...for a period piece, that is. I liked it.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is still the funniest movie I've seen all year. Laughed my ass off watching it for a second time. Easily this decade's best rom-com....

Watched "Forbiden Kingdom" yesterday. I wish I had subtitles when they spoke chinese, since I know I missed some of the best parts.
Anyway considering the movie was basicly made to get Jet Li and Jackie Chan on the same screen, it ended up being pretty decent.
Except for that Sindel wannabe. My god the second I saw her whip her hair I began laughing a lot, I now officialy refer to the Jade Warlord as Shao Kahn.
