I liked it. I didn't think it was amazing or anything, but I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the 23 minutes I have seen so far. Though I must say as much as I like Mads he ain’t pulling off Grindel yet like Depp. Hell it even seems like they are trying to erase Depp’s look altogether from Mads.

Agreed. Depp's Grindelwald was incredible...Mads is just good.

Watched Ford v Ferrari. Solid flick. The human interest stories of the particulars was handled somewhat oddly though. It's like it seems to spend a lot of time on it, which kind of makes the movie longer and drag a bit, but also you are left feeling you were't filled in enough about these folks. The racing action sequences are excellent. Christian Bale is great. Matt Damon is good. The dynamic between Shelby's team and corporate Ford is what really drives (see what I did there?) the movie. The actor playing the dickish Ford exec. quite possibly steals the show. You don't insult the Ford Mustang and expect that to just slide.

Finished. I can’t agree. Solid performances all around and lots of magicpolsions and shit. I liked it. Mads is such a swing away from Depp though. I couldn’t even tell if he had a contact in till the ending. Jude sells Dumbledore’s badassery in his prime really well.

Finally watched Good Will Hunting last night with the lady.
Such a good show.

Also watched Paycheck, I don't get why Woo was such a hyped director this movie was SO clunky.

Woo is good when he's making Hong Kong movies because they let him do whatever the heck he wants and there are little to no safety regs....in America he was constrained by what they let him do.

If you watch HARD BOILED or A BETTER TOMORROW, you'll see why he's a lauded action director. Everything he's made in the States has been middling to meh.

Hard Boiled is tops, and The Killer rules too.

*Except Face/Off, which is perfect.

I will happily accept your asterisked movie addendum to Woo's US work. :D

Did the Cruiser subtly insert references to the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Or was he somehow convinced to leave that out?

Was finally able to finish Matrix 4. Not a fan.

At all.

An attempt not to be 100% negative about it I really did legit enjoy seeing the
Spoiler
and I appreciate seeing a few Sens8(I need to rewatch this and finally see the ending movie) cast members. That is really about it though. I would have been good with Matrix 3 as the cap.

I thought it was solid part one of a multi part story. Total set up.

I loved everything everywhere all at once. Good story very unique too that touches on some things I think we all think about in terms of relationships and bonds we from..

Also kinda spoilers so don’t read ahead unless you have seen:

I kinda thought about ORKs from 40k and how they manifest their powers as the groups get larger. Just me ?? Really. Dang. That’s kinda of how I saw it from the untrained eye LoL. Some sort of psykerr ability. Ok I’m dieing now thinking about the utter randomness of a bunch of humans running into a large group of orcs seemingly randomly grabbing stuff around them and doing crazy stuff . Lol

Watched Burn After Reading last night, we both loved it, top notch cast and all hit their roles superbly. Coen brothers rarely get it wrong I guess
