Some final thoughts...

Balance was really against Town in this one.

Ratio of Town:Scum was 3.29 : 1 (instead of a more typical 4:1) at start, AND Scum collectively had 5 Night Kills/Recruits per night. Only about 1/3 of the townies could avoid these actions, and frequently they were one-off (although that can be as good as fully BP considering people don't like to waste a second action to be sure).

I thought Camarilla really had this one down based on the roles and the fact that they were HARD to kill, but the player implosion was pretty funny.

Do not exactly agree. Scum very much relied on off-topic communications and only the potentially most dangerous foe, the FM, could communicate off topic or even knew one another. Finders could have been lethal and the FM were in a position of weakness due to protections and BPs. Town required a guard, but they were mostly fine.

can we plese give Tennes an extra vote for that link?

it's awesome :(

Heheh, glad you liked it. I honestly was waiting the entire game to have keyboard kitty play someone off. Sadly Amp wasn't lynched directly at that point- bp and all, but same thing.

Ok, this was my first game so... I'm confused as all hell.

Reading the first page of this spoiler forum didn't help sort anything in my mind really. Can anyone post a summary?

Love,

2 Camarilla, each had a night-kill action. One (Ampelas aka Morgy45) somehow thought his team had recruitment and superior numbers and reveal-bombed himself and his teammate (Fener aka Obdigore). Obdi asked for a modkill in frustration, Morgy got voted off promptly. Several people had the ability to avoid being killed with a one-time BP (bullet-proof) ability that saved them from death, BUT an early moderator mistake caused one such person (ME) to be killed on accident.

3 Sabbat, with a recruiter, a guard, and a finder. The recruiter (Emurlahn aka bwgan) failed to recruit again and again because a lot of people were 'recruit-proof' (either nothing happened or trying to recruit them turned them suicidal). The guard (Korvalian) died after some usefulness, Rashan played out his finder role well, with true reveals but feeding the info to his recruiter to get the Sabbat a majority at the end of the game.

2 Baali (Ruse aka Jump Around and Barghast aka Gem Windcaster) kept possessing people by 'killing' the player behind the alt and then assuming the alt themselves. By the end of the game, Jump Around was in Gamelon and got killed, Gem was in Meanas and lived but failed to meet her win condition. Several people (the Nosferatu anarchs, the Sabbat original 3) were possession-proof, others had a 1-time avoidance (BP or bulletproof) from possession.

Lots of townies, most of whom suspected each other and NOT the scum.

You were just so authoritative. :D

BTW I never knew what Omtose's clan was, just that he might be Anarch. But that was fun....confusing/nervewracking/stressful/paininducing/annoying....but fun. :( :p
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

S'posed to be Lish and Grief, I think, but they can't the current plan seems to be to jump to Alt's mini

Ok, so how does this actually work in game play? If they assume the alt, what happens to the alt they left? Do they end up running more than one character? :(
This bothered me from the beginning, so I guess I shoudl've asked a Mod.

No, the alt they left turns up 'dead' with the CF of the person they jumped into.

Someone said Gem Windcaster was jumping all over the place, but Barghast was around for a while before turning up dead.

Well fuck, I guess this is just the noob learning curve. I hope y'all will let me continue playing. I'll get the hang of it.

As an example, if Barghast (Gem) is an FM and shifts into Serc (jimmy) who is a Townie, then when the night-scene is posted it will say that Barghast (Jimmy) died and was a Townie, and after that Gem will use the Serc alt, and still be the FM.

(Gem didn't make any jumps in the first few nights, so don't be confused)

Hehe, Mockra said lekker. I agree with him on the sentiment, but I always laugh when I see South Africanisms on the internet. On that note I need to get to bed, see you all tomorrow.

HEHE! I know, I normally steer very far away from Afrikaans, but I was worried about the FM. So I tried to signal to Dktorode as I knew he should pick up on lekker and if he saw me dead and Mockra was still alive he would know that it wasn't me.

Still I seriously underestimated the Cult this game!!!! :(
