Right back and caught up. Pity we hit an inno, but I have to admit I would would have voted for him too for the whole 'there is no town' thing.
Ano, you're probably thinking about me - I dont actually know about the setting, other than it's a paper-based RPG about vampires and that I played a computer game set in the universe (but apparently based off a different ruleset) a couple of years ago. I did do some reading up though and posted some links. Since then I did find some more info and will linky to that as well, as well as my thoughts concerning it.
As for the game, most of the past couple of pages has Fener and Shadow speaking out of their asses. Both of them seem convinced that the other isnt in their faction, which I find a little suspicious.

This is the only hint of FM I see, along with the 'possession' NA.

Dear ______
Your previous services to the Camarilla have been invaluable, and it is your reputation that is the reason behind this summon. Our agent reported the existence of a new Baali cell in Budapest. Before we could carry out a proper operation, however, the Sabbat struck, and through their usual incompetence, the ringleaders broke free.we have reason to believe that a pair of them has sough refuge in the so-called “Free zone” in the domain of that malcontent Judas. As our best agent in the area, you are tasked with hunting down the demonic spawns and eradicating them. There are no doubts that once Judas finds out about their presence, the cordon will be closed, thus it is impossible to say if we will be able to provide additional assistance. Once the heinous Baali are eliminated, you are to eliminate the malcontents inside the keep. Bear in mind, the heretics are likely to be effective at disguising themselves, being able to mimic any Kindred they encounter. The have been on the Camarilla most wanted list for a while and their elimination is essential to the protection of the Masquerade.

remove vote
vote Tellan
Now I must step out for a couple hours but I'll be back probably before next night.

@Meanas - The Sabbat seem like a cult to me with their victory conditions.
The Carmilla are ninja-vampires, here to kill everyone.
The Baali are demon worshippers (I guess, from the scene?) and I would imagine are the FM, since the letter to the Carmilla is to kill the Baali, and hell everyone else while you are there.
At least that is my take on the game.

It's fairly ambiguous.
1) Once the heinous Baali are eliminated, you are to eliminate the malcontents.
2) Bear in mind, the heretics are likely to be effective at disguising themselves, being able to mimic any Kindred they encounter.
3) The [sic] have been on the Carmilla most wanted list for a while and their elimination is essential to the protection of the Masquerade.
Note the end of sentence #1 transitions from Baali to 'malcontents,' which quite likely refers to the 'independent' Anarch faction.
Immediately after that sentence ends, heretics are mentioned. Previously the Baali are mentioned as 'demonic spawns,' which lends to the idea that the Camarilla view the Baali as not the same type of Vampire as the other factions. Thus, I suspect they view the 'heretics' as the the same as the 'malcontents,' so I believe the Camarilla are saying any of the Anarchs could disguise themselves based on this sentence but...
The third sentence indicates that the heretics must be eliminated for the Masquerade to continue, but although the Anarchs do not appear to be a faction concerned with upsetting the Masquerade, the winning condition for the Camarilla is to eliminate all other factions, so I suspect the Anarchs AND the Sabbat are considered 'heretics' and thus able to potentially disguise themselves.

If that is an FM clue I would think it only refers to one of them. Linkys comin soon, but the anarchs are a less heirachial (sp?) form of the Camarilla so I could see them classified as malcontents. The Baali on the other hand worship demons which would probably make them heretics?

Yes, I would absolutely agree.
My guess is:
The Camarilla are just here to kill everyone and are probably a very very small team of tough mofos.
The Sabbat are here to recruit everyone and have one recruitment leader and a few minions (plus converts).
The Baali are here to kill everyone as FM.

Interesting, I think I understand where FM is coming from, so who do we need to hunt the most? I'd say the Carmillai? Then the Baali and Sabbat? Or does the recruiting take precedence over the shifting forms of the Baali.

I think it's just wording semantics, TBH, but I think the letter view the Baali as inferior 'demonic spawn' and the Sabbat and Anarchs as generic 'heretics.'

I disagree. I think the Baali and Sabbat are the more dangerous because the scene very heavily indicates that people will be getting recruited over (the Sabbat) and the recent discussion leads me to believe that the Baali can possess.
If anything I'd say
Sabbat Leader AND Baali > Camarilla > Sabbat rank-and-file
Note: I will not lose any sleep if we kill Camarilla early. Let's face it, there's very little to help us determine who belongs to which faction.

That's what the OP seems to suggest, I've mentioned it before but the stuff I've read seems to suggest a very different setup, but I have no idea how true to the game Ment has been. Or if he's played it there might be all sorts of stuff that's two complicated to fit into a short wiki article.

I would think they have a vig or vigs since they are the 'best' agents around.
I'm not sure if its a good idea to discuss this kind of stuff ever, much less during day (night)

Truth is, if the Camarilla know each other, it's going to be very difficult to beat them if they have night kills and maybe some BP aspects, especially if we spend 3-6 days lynching off Baali and Sabbat (because we're probably going to keep clobbering Anarchs in the mix). But the simple fact that the Baali and Sabbat can help turn the tide in their favor is what makes me feel they are the bigger up-front threat. The Camarilla have to survive long enough to have a voting majority, and it's very likely that when the game is getting tight that you'll only have one of them left who must try to stay hidden while night-killing off survivors.
