Any size as in very large. He must think his faction is small...

For me, it was pretty much a given from the start that the faction size was between 2 to 5, had expected him to make the same assumption.

On a side note, why is it so difficult for people to actually read the game rules? :(

Aye, I'm a bit confused about that as well :p
I think it's routine... they assume they know.

My mini is going to be fun as well... provisionals and votes cannot b e changed and someone will be able to end the day whenever he likes. I forsee all kinds of panic there :snigger:

Hoho, I agree with the sentiments on thread, this game is finally starting to get really good. :(

Well, I wouldn't have noticed it unless DiBs has pointed it out, but it does seem like Tennes claims a low number.

So my provisional is to investigate Tennes.

Sowwy Obdi,

But I logged to myself when I saw Gem was also in P-S. If you browse past games, several people mod in their main (incl. you, at the least to make announcements of when to resolve, Ment is another example). As for modding in character & joking... as long as I don't give spoilers away or dominate the thread, I personally see no harm in it, nor does it influence the game in a bad way.
It's not like I'm creating sock puppets for my own entertainment...

Anyway, enough explanation and I'll try and restrain myself a bit more since this is not my own game. If you feel the need to lash out some more, feel free :(

better now?

cheers,

Tapper

Lol just trying to give the game a shot to the balls to make something happen :p

I know Ment does it, and he really shouldn't.

I really think these new voting rules are poorly thought out and designed.

well... we have to see how it develops, but for the first few days, the argument 'he's not on my team' was enough.
The way it goes now, is that each has his own train going to 5... and sabotage ensues until people start to compromise. So yes, we'll be in for a few crashing trains going to 5 and then halt... but at the least, people will do more than just add their vote :(

I would like the second one obviously.... :(

Could you please give me enough points so that I can kill Rashan. Let me kill him Now. How about a quick day kill. I would happily give up all of my points. Please, please let me kill rashan.

Also I wish to target Rashan to die to night. I don't care how many points he has KILL HIM.... Make it bloody as hell. Entrails hanging all over the place and obvious signs of genital torture. :p pretty please with sugar on top.

At this stage I am fed up with night timing out and the APs.

Errr... this was aimed at the players, not the mods, I understand the 2 of you are working damned hard. That was mostly my frustration at my inability to use my power. :(

Sorry if I offended anyone.

It's oki, I'm just generally grumpy in the mornings and hardly had sleep last night AND ran out of coffee, so I was doubly grumpy.

Cheers,

But noone is going to be lynched. Anyone being vote 6-10 or so has no chance whatsoever of getting points, so why would they be on that train? They wont.

I certainly wouldn't hand 2 AP to 5 randoms who managed to vote for someone before I did.

Gem here--
I know it's a bit of a gamble to introduce changes to the mechanics when they're not tested, but that has to be set against the fact that it's getting more interesting now. :p However I am always open for suggestions. Would a point lottery do it for you?

Oh I understand its a gamble Gem, I just can't figure out any reason for ME (or anyone else) to currently be votes 6-10, if you see what I am saying.

I'm not sure what you mean by point lottery, but hell, just 6 random people on the correct train, regardless of where they voted would work, or say you are doing that and give noone any AP, I dunno :)

Maybe only the people with less AP than the person lynched should get AP?

As a note, did my Night Heal last night go through or no?

Changed Lynch AP mechanic - the final cut (copied from game thread)

Quote

Lynch AP's are randomized: +1AP to 4 random players, +2AP to 4 random players. +2AP to the Hammer. The number of draws will recede when players die, naturally, but you won't know when or with how much they will recede - but players will get points (not lying honestly :p ) But know this: there might be points given that you know nothing about, due to a hidden AP gain Mechanic. :doc:
From now on you won't get notices of your AP status, not if you gain nor if you lose any. You won't get information about your total AP count.

All you need to know is: you are more likely to benefit from voting and participating and writing brilliant cases, than not voting and participating. And I mean really benefit. :p

You won't get AP notices from Night Actions either - of course you will know of your actions go through, but you won't know how many points you got.

Enjoy the rest of the game. :(

Hidden AP gain mechanic: haven't thought of one yet, but I am sure we can come up with something sneaky. :)

Just realised that Claude Raines is the teacher, not the invisible man *slaps head*. Guess that blows the theory about Mockra having the power of invisibility out of the water. In light of that, I doubt Mockra is going to have large quantities of APs, so that makes giving him a killing power less useful. I'll have to ruminate on that.

I figure a possible last ditch plan for tomorrow is to reveal as Claude Raines, giving an editted list of the powers I can hand out (probably just Telekinesis, Save and Telepathy, as they are the most non-threatening). Only thing that makes me doubt that is that if I do that and then my CF turns out to be Peter Petrelli, people might think I'm in communication with everyone else, and then drive the lynch train in their direction.

Oh please tell me that when whoever it was dropped the name Hiro it was common knowledge that he had a role like that because of the last game. If someone has got Omtose out of this by letting slip something they shouldn't have, I'll be angry.

Not my fault I heard a nasty rummer that the more confirms for night action on the same person you sent in the more AP points you get.

(I made the rummer up just now but I like the sound of it.) :snigger:

So do I, spread it on thread! :snigger:

I will, of course, deny any and all involvement :D

Rashan is Hiro, because he is the one who drew the connection of Omtose's find abilities and Space-Time Manipulation. I went back and looked at the spoilers from the previous Heroes game, and the role was different from its incarnation in this game. Ergo, in order to connect the dots, you'd need to be aware of the specifics of the Space-Time Manipulation ability, and I doubt there's another Claude Raines wondering around to tell him how to do it.

I'll chase after him if I survive to tomorrow.

As if anyone will believe you. Right now you are thinking that it is such a good idea you might incorporate it into one of your upcoming game. :p It certainly would solve the little problem of people not putting in provisional's.

Personally I would rather lynch Morgy tomorrow. He is moderately fun to keep around. :snigger: I don't really know who Kesso is but it is fun to fake it on thread like i did with Galain. That makes people (morgy) unsure of who is in my alliance. :D Misdirection is fun.

Did I mention that I would like to Kill Rashan he is obviously fake being drunk, or he is really drunk and i am bitter. I have 3 hours of Accounting to look forward to. le sigh...

ouchie, still on course?
knowing Rash and knowing it is early in the week, he's not drunk but you are still bitter :D but I wonder how he manages to eat, play xbox and type... that man is either a genius or a compulsive liar. probably both :p
