okay, done with the Deathmatch.
it's thirsday, meaning there's a one page thought paper due in 4 hours. predictably, i'm off to do some reading and write it.

God damn it, what a boring night. Nothing has changed, and I won't be on for end of day (AGAIN... 24 hour days suck ass).
I'm pretty happy where my vote is for now (it's on Venge, in case you were wondering), though Kurt has moved to number 2 position (lol).
See you guys later.
edit - by the way, can I vote for no weekend break, please? Weekend breaks ruin the game. Byeeeeee.

Also, Gavin, since you appear to be in and out of the thread, what you opinion on people still alive?
I'm particualrlyinterested in what you think of the people that talk a lot

Ment, I have to admit Morgoth has a point.
Why were you waiting for me? To see my defense? What if you liked it, or didn't like it? Would that have made a difference?
Even if I said "lol, dktorode, you got me I'm killer", you couldn't lynch me in time. What were you afraid of, then? The NK? The only way you wouldn't hear my comment on dktorode's case is if I was the NK, in which case I would call that "case closed", don't you think?
And what about Morgoth, you weren't waiting for him comment, only mine? This is bizarre.
As for last-second hammers, last time you promised us that you fucked it up with a coin toss FFS, so don't tell me that lynch was guaranteed and dktorode took the hammer from you.

I wasn't waiting for Morgoth to comment, because
a) he already did, by that point
b ), ne wasn't listed as an active user. you were.
and btw, the cointoos situation was different in that for straters it was Day 1, not to mention we already had a modkill that day. Though I can see why you'd be tempted to compare the two. I suspect i'll carry the stigma of that cointoss for the rest of my mafia career.
anyhow, if you feel that Morgoth has a strong case, then vote

then i'd hammer, obviously.
Like I have stated before, that day, if we didn't lynch Bubba, we'd be lynching him today, so it'd be a waste of a lynch and an extra kill.

Then there was no point waiting for me.
Your "x minutes left" was fraught with danger, since when are the updates accurate to the minute? We had to wait for dktorode to come back before hammer, obviously, so he could make his case without the risk of being NKed before.
Once that case was out, then you should have hammered. Your shenanigans could be explained two ways:
1- Bubba was your symp, and you were hoping for the (far-fetched, but that's all you had at that point) hope that Bent would "screw us" by a few minutes before you had the chance to make your promised hammer.
2- You know Bubba was inno, and you wanted to make sure someone you would come out at the one who had to hammer at the very last minute because that's the only lynch the others left you with or, even better, someone else does it.
There is nothing there that could be explained by an inno wanting the lynch. There was nothing to gain by waiting, and everything to lose.
It comes back to this Ment: you are either guilty, or played poorly. I don't know what to say about that except
vote Mentalist

If you're again inno you should start to plan/study your strategies for the end-of-day stretches the same way you plan /study your chess openings and endgames

This also all adds to the other things I picked up from Ment before in the game.
If he's inno, then I'm useless to you all, sorry, I don't see who else I could attack today in good faith.
I'm all ears, though

lol
that last post is quite ironic, considering I was losing most of the game, but killed my opponent on time pressure, making him mess up horribly when he had 5 mins left on the clock and I had 30,

End of day 1
1 Vote Grief (Mentalist)
2 Votes Mentalist (Grief, Obdigore)
7 Votes Obdigore (Dibs, Yellow, Kurt M.,Bubba,Dktorode, Sixty, Gavin)
1 Vote Bubba (Jump Around)
1 Vote Kurt M. (Vengeance)
Day 2
2 votes Dktorode (Sixty, Yellow)
1 Vote Kurt M. (Vengeance)
6 votes Sixty (Gavin, Dktorode, Morgoth, Mentalist, Jump Around, Dibs)
Players not voted : Bubba, Kurt M.
Day 3
1 Votes Vengeance (Bubba)
4 Votes Bubba (Morgoth, Jump Around, Vengeance, Gavin, Dktorode)
1 Vote Dktorode (Kurt M.)
1 Vote Jump Around (Dktorode)
right, the one thing I found ever so slightly odd is that Gavin is the only person out of 13 that's been on every lynch train so far.
There's also the fact that aside form accusing Morgoth for his vote 3 on me on Day 1, i'm yet to see any kind of significant interaction between the two, aside from the fact that Gavin made a case on Sixty that started his train, onto which Morgoth jumped, and the next day Morgoth started the case on Bubba, wit Gavin jumping on, to make it L-1.
not the strongest collection of facts, I know, but it's been kinda nagging me, and I decided to put this on thread before someone hammers me.

yes, it's nice to be alive.
however, my eyes are closing on their own volition.
i'm gonna crawl inot bed to get some semblance (~3h) of shut-eye.
seems the only other person around's Gavin and he's nottalking.
back in 3 hours.

Sorry all, busy day at work, I hate it when they come up with urgent issues.
I had 4 people as my main suspects. A Yellow/Kurt combination, or a Morgy/JA combination (after DKT's case).
Ment and Vengy I had put aside and less suspicious after a bit of a reread fo r a few reasons.
So unfortunately I'm not completely behind a Ment lynch. I don't see a lot of people switching to Kurt either at the moment. I think we've still got about 6 or so hours till lynch? But if its not going to be Ment, I don't fancy our chances.
After yesterday I'm a little keen on testing the Morgoth/JA little thing as brought up by DKT, its not strong though. In fact everything we have is pretty weak on everyone.

That goes to show I guess that we're all getting good at this game. I still don't get the JA/Morgoth connection. I've pointed out again and again that dk grossly missinterpreted my posts, yet that's just flat out ignored. Besides, the whole argument springs from the lack of interaction between JA and me. At the time you could've made the same sort of argument for pretty much everyone in relation to one or two other players.
So, why do you think dk's case is good?
